"Della asked the group of maids in the backyard, 'What work do I have to do?' Everyone gave her an awkward look. After observing the maids hastily retreat upon seeing her approach, Della was bewildered by their actions. Eventually, she sat down in the backyard, and she didn’t realize when she fell asleep there. Suddenly, she felt a chill as she opened her eyes to find herself in the koi pond, completely soaked from head to toe. As she surveyed her surroundings, she noticed the sun had already set, casting a shadowy figure just in front of her. Startled by the sight, she screamed in fear at the top of her lungs, standing up abruptly and running in the opposite direction of the shadow. However, before she could get far, the shadow caught her, grabbing her hand and pulling her towards him. Her screams intensified as a hand covered her mouth, trapping her in the shadow's embrace.

'You certainly are loud,' a voice remarked. Upon hearing it, Della immediately recognized it as the voice of the 3rd prince. She pushed herself away from his grasp and finally saw his face.

'3rd prince,' Della uttered.

'Have you finished your nap already?' The prince's voice dripped with sarcasm, making Della feel small.

'I'm sorry! I didn't realize when I fell asleep,' Della apologized, attempting to save face."
"I think you forget you ARE the maid here, not a guest," Cheng said, his voice dripping with arrogance.

Cheng was infamous for his merciless demeanour, showing no compassion to those he deemed weak or unworthy. His decisions were governed by cold logic and ruthless efficiency, earning him the reputation of being heartless.

As Cheng walked away, leaving Della behind in the freezing cold with biting wind, he unexpectedly turned back to glance at her. "Every mistake has its consequences, and you have made a mistake. Be ready to pay the price," he declared coldly.

Cheng's words struck Della deeply, prompting her to reflect on why people didn't respect him—it was because he didn't deserve it. She realized her mistake in thinking that respect came solely from one's position; respect should be earned, and Cheng had not earned it. Her anger simmered as she remembered how he had callously dunked her into freezing water while she slept—a punishment that fueled her fury.

"Price? Being thrown into that freezing water was punishment enough," Della retorted defiantly at Cheng's words. She refused to become Cheng's puppet.

"That is necessary to ensure you remember your mistake," Cheng replied tersely. Though a man of few words, these were the ones Della truly despised.

"Your 'price' is simple: you must stand here the entire night," Cheng stated firmly.

Della stood there, enveloped in the bitter cold, contemplating her predicament. She realized that tonight wasn't just about enduring the physical discomfort but also about standing firm against Cheng's cold-hearted ways. As the icy wind whipped around her. She shiver in the cold freezing wind.but she can,t do anything.

She is the new maid appointed at Languaon Palace. She is the one who caused the disturbance that made us miss the opportunity to attack Crown Prince Xiaosheng." Both men looked towards Della on her balcony.
"She might prove useful to us in the future. She is the reason I missed my chance to become the crown prince, but this is just the beginning. Xiaosheng's days are numbered; the crown will eventually be mine." Both man smiled  evily.

"Isn't she the new maid? I didn't expect her to meet this fate so soon. Perhaps no one even knows her name yet," remarked the man.

In royal attire, a man and his servant observed Della from their garden, adjacent to the third prince's palace with only a wall separating it from the fifth prince's residence.

"Cheng doesn't need to be so harsh with her. She's his first maid; he should know how to treat her, don't you think?" the fifth prince said to his servant.

"Why not suggest it to the third prince, my lord?" the sharp-tongued servant replied.

"I can't. I'm afraid of him. He's not as friendly as Xiaosheng," replied the fifth prince fearfully.
