Darla woke up groggily as she sat up, hair was flung around and her mouth was insanely dry.

The sun was blaring into her room leaving small strips of light peeking into the dark.

She stared at the door of the room, remembering everything,

that happened last night.

The Colombian mentally cursed herself as she leaned against the beds headboard,

' fuck, what if they're all still here, especially nika.'

Darla thought to herself as she ran a hand to brush a hair away from her face,

She needed to find her phone, to text her roommate and ask if the 3 girls were just outside her room.

She couldn't find her phone.

It was awfully quiet outside the door as Darla rummaged through her bedsheets, head pounding and her dizziness taking over, as she flopped into the bed, groaning into the sheets.

she rubbed her temple with her fingers, trying to soothe the headache that was beginning to form.
then with a heavy sigh, she swung her legs over the side of the bed and stood up, the sudden change in position making her feel lightheaded.

she stumbled slightly as she made her way across the room, searching for her phone.
as she looked around the room, she couldn't see it anywhere.

she tried to remember where she had last seen it, but her memory was fuzzy and the pounding in her head from the intense hangover she was facing, wasn't making matters any better.

finally, she gave up her search and flopped back onto the bed, burying her face in her pillow.
she laid there in silence for a moment, contemplating what to do next.

darla laid there for several minutes, dreading the thought of having to face nika and the other girls after the way she had acted the night before.

but eventually, the need to satisfy her dry throat and throbbing headache became too much to ignore.
she rolled out of bed, her feet hitting the cool floor with a thud.

as she made her way to the door of her room,
she attached her hand to the cold handle,
she tried to steel herself for the confrontation that was likely waiting for her on the other side.
however, as she opened the door and stepped out into the hallway, she was surprised to only see azzi, her roommate, sitting on the couch and scrolling through her phone.

She exhaled a breath she didn't even know she was holding.

azzi looked up from her phone as she heard darla exit her room, a lazy grin spreading across her face.
"well good morning, nice of you to wake up. "
she teased, looking darla up and down.

Darlas hair was a mess as her hoodie was lazily thrown over her head, one of her sweatpants legs were rolled up and her sleeves were hiding her hands as she stood there,

darla winced at the sound of azzi's voice, the volume magnifying her headache.

" ugh, shut up." she muttered, rubbing at her temples as she shuffled over to the couch.

" what time is it ? " Darla asked groggily as she aggressively rubbed her eyes, leaning forward on the couch before grabbing the edges of it.

azzi looked down at her phone, checking the time.
" it's 3 pm. " she replied, looking back up at darla with a smirk.

darla felt a pang of shock and realization wash over her.
thirty pm... she had slept almost the entire day away.
she shook her head, feeling a wave of embarrassment at the thought of losing an entire day to her hangover.
