"So, who do you think my dad is?" 12-year-old Percy Jackson asked his best friend, Grover Underwood.
"I'm not sure. But the one thing I know for sure is that your dad is not Apollo," Grover replied.
"My archery isn't that bad," Percy protested.
"You almost killed Chiron!"
"Chiron can't die!"
Grover paused to think about his response. "He can still get injured."
"Whatever."
"Did you just 'whatever' Chiron?"
"No! I mean yes—argh!—maybe?"
Grover laughed at his friends predicament.
Percy swatted in the satyr's direction. "Shut up, goat boy."
"Will do, 'Supreme Lord of the Bathroom'."
"To be fair, Clarisse totally deserved that."
Grover bleated nervously.
"Whatcha worried about this time, G-man?"
"Clarisse hearing this and pummeling you."
"We'll be fine," Percy insisted. "At least, I think we will."
Grover faced his best friend with fear. "What do you mean, 'I think we will be fine'!?"
Percy laughed, glad the tables had turned from him being the one bullied.
"Just messing with you, G-man," Percy answered.
"Well don't do that again! You nearly gave me a heart attack!"
"Sorry."
Grover humphed.
"Still, I'm pretty sure we'll be fine."
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN, 'PRETTY SURE'!?"

"My name is Grover Underwood, satyr, and Lord of the Wild."
Future Grover had just arrived from, well, from the future. Instead of wasting time before introducing himself like the others, he went straight to the front of the makeshift stage and introduced himself to the past people.
"Dam, couldn't even spare me one hello?" Thalia asked, making Grover laugh at the "dam".
"Sorry, I had to introduce myself first, it was the one thing I knew I had to do when I arrived in the past so I had to do it the second I arrived here," future Grover explained (not very well).
"Wait, Lord of the Wild!?" Zeus and past Grover exclaimed, each for their own reason.
"Um... yeah?" future Grover answered awkwardly.
"We become a Lord of the Wild!?" past Grover exclaimed at the same time Zeus boomed, "Who gave you permission to tell the past people that so early!?"
Future Grover looked between the two. "Excuse me, but could you please repeat yourselves, I couldn't understand you over each other."
Zeus took the liberty of going first. "Who gave you permission to tell the past people that you become a Lord of the Wild before we even tell that story!?"
"Mr. D. He's the one who appeared and told me about the whole time travel scenario and what to do."
"Dionysus!" Zeus yelled.
"Yes?" Dionysus replied lazily.
"Why did you tell him this!? This was not part of the plan!"
"Uhm, sorry?" Dionysus tried.
"This just ruined everything!"
Everyone else was just watching this unfold with one of the two mindsets: Being scared and concerned; acting like they're watching fucking Dance Moms or Keeping up with the Kardashians or some other crazy reality TV show with a ton of drama in it.
"This is like a soap opera, but better," future Piper whispered to Jason.
"I know, right?" Jason whispered back.
Zeus was still going on a rampage of anger because his (read: Athena's) plan was now slightly altered.
"Father," Athena spoke up, "this is fine. We will just continue on with our lives, and the past people will have just one extra piece of information. We just won't expand on the topic like you are currently doing."
Zeus froze. "Of course. Let us continue on."
Athena nodded. "Yes, father."
Dionysus shot Athena a quick 'thank you' look before returning to his normal grumpy self.
Zeus, however, was still miffed about the whole Lord of the Wild situation. In his mind, the only way to cover up his mistake was through one man. The second he arrived, everything would be forgotten.
"Apollo, bring in the last person," Zeus commanded.
Perseus Jackson was going to be the perfect finale.

He was watching. He knew what was going on. The gods of the future were trying to ruin the changes he had made to the timeline. He was not going to let that happen.
First, he just had to stop Perseus Jackson.
He knew exactly what to do. After all, his fatal flaw was loyalty.
And Annabeth Chase was the person he was most loyal to.
That was a lot in only like 700 words. Heh...
I'm sorry for the sorta short chapter, but it accomplished what I wanted it to. The villain should be pretty obvious, but it was fun not revealing who it was yet :P
The beginning was just a little something that'll come into play later into the story.
Anyway, time for the Question of the Chapter! This chapter's question is this: How long is your most played playlist? Mine's, erm, 18 hours and 42 minutes, and I still randomly add songs sometimes.
See you next week! <3
