This chapter is a long one, so buckle in for some craziness and drama. The popcorn is right here for anyone that wants it: 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿

The final person.

That was all anyone could think about. It had to be this Jackson boy with the nickname "Kelp Head", right? Or would the portal do the thing it did and bring someone different?

It has to be Luke, past Annabeth thought. Who else would it be? But what about the Jackson boy? Did Luke change his name? Demeter did sort-of look in Luke's direction. And what about the nickname Kelp Head? Did something happen with kelp?

Past Annabeth would soon learn that Luke was not the final person. In fact, the final person was someone not a single past person was expecting.

The aforementioned person walked out of the swirling, purple vortex with confidence. He had dark, messy hair and sea green eyes. Like future Annabeth, he was wearing a faded Camp Half-Blood t-shirt. A troublemaker smirk was plastered on his face as he strolled over the the group of future people.

"Welcome to the past. Let me take your jacket for you," Leo said, taking a pretend jacket off of him.

"Thank you so much kind sir," he said, playing along.

"Dude, you finally made it!" future Jason said, slinging an arm around the man's shoulders.

"I know, crazy, right?" the guy chuckled, walking over to future Annabeth.

"Introduction, Seaweed Brain," future Annabeth chastised as he walked over to her.

The man groaned. "Fine."

"Go on and do it," future Annabeth said.

The guy walked up to the front of the makeshift stage to introduce himself.

"Hiya everybody. My name's Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon and all that jazz."

For the first time since Hera yelled at the beginning of the book, the crowd went silent. Like, entirely silent

It didn't last long though. How could it? Percy had just announced that he was the son of Poseidon, after all.

The voice that was easiest to hear over the madness was past Percy Jackson himself.

"SON OF POSEIDON!?" he yelled.

Future Percy rubbed the back of his neck as he stepped back to be in line with the rest of the future people. Future Annabeth bumped his shoulder and whispered something into his ear, but no one could hear it over the chaos unfolding on the Field of Mars. It made future Percy laugh, though.

Honestly, the future people didn't know what to expect this time around. They knew that the past people would be in shock, but the had hoped they wouldn't be as crazy as when Nico revealed his heritage.

However, the future people did not luck out. The past people squabbled on about prophecies and children of the Big Three till nightfall. Even when the Sun started setting, they somehow continued on. The only logical explanation would be that due to their godly genes, they had a tendency to blow things out of proportion and make a big deal about it.

Trying to control the crowd was useless, so the past people continued on. Somehow, they still had energy them after everything that had already happened, and continued on their tangent until the Sun had disappeared under the horizon for a good 15 minutes.

By then the future people had made themselves at home. Leo somehow found a beanbag chair ( "No questions," was his response to Piper asking him where he found a beanbag chair in the middle of a Roman boot camp). Hestia had summoned a pack of cards that the future people were using. By the time everyone had settled down, they had already played four games of 'Garbage', two games of 'War', and five games of 'Palace'. Coach Hedge joined in for some of the games, but got bored after losing too many times. He practiced hitting things with his club after that.
