Spencer nodded, understanding her hesitation. Then, his expression shifted, becoming more intense. "Okay, so let's get to know each other. Who is Ember Blackwell?"

The room suddenly felt charged with tension. Derek called out Spencer's name in warning, and Ellie's face contorted in confusion. But Spencer's focus remained solely on Olivia, watching as she visibly tensed at the mention of that name.

Olivia hadn't heard that name since she officially became Olivia Owens. Gideon had promised her that the name was dead, that her past was buried. The fact that Spencer knew about it sent a chill down her spine.

"How do you know that name?" Olivia's voice was barely a whisper, her eyes wide with a mix of fear and anger. She noticed Derek quickly ushering a bewildered Ellie out of the room, leaving her alone with Spencer.

Spencer softened his tone, sensing the vulnerability behind her question. "I did some research, trying to understand who might have a motive for stalking you. Ember Blackwell was your name before you became Olivia Owens. I believe your past could be the key to finding out who's behind this."

Olivia swallowed hard, memories she'd long suppressed flooding back. "Ember Blackwell was someone I left behind," she said, her voice trembling slightly. "She was a scared girl living in her father's world. Olivia Owens is who I had to become to survive."

"Who else knows about this?" Spencer pressed gently, his eyes never leaving hers.

"Only my adoptive parents and I. And... well, Gideon," she responded, unconsciously biting her nails – a habit she thought she'd broken years ago. "There's no way this pertains to my past. No one else knows who I really am."

At that moment, Hotch entered with the rest of the team. His sharp eyes took in the scene before him, and he sent Spencer a pointed look, silently warning him about the delicate ground he was treading by mentioning Olivia's past.

Hotch leaned forward, his intense gaze fixed on Olivia. "I think you're right, Miss Owens. The number of people who know about Ember Blackwell is extremely limited. And those who did know believed she perished years ago." His voice was measured, carefully choosing each word. "This suggests our unsub's focus is on your present identity, not your past."

Emily nodded in agreement, her dark eyes thoughtful. "The note doesn't contain any references to your past life. It's entirely focused on Olivia Owens, the person you are now. There's nothing here that indicates knowledge of Ember."
