Avery's POV:
"and you just think you're hot shit don't you?" i ask sarcastically as everyone's laughs bounce off the walls in my apartment.
"well i mean, if i was shit, i would be hot shit." liam says as a snarky comeback. my brother is definitely a character.
me, jade, and noah just continue to laugh our asses off. everything is always so fun when we're together. it's been us four since freshman year.
me and liam have always been close, surprisingly. we of course have our fights but we're siblings and that's inevitable. but i really can't deny that he is a great brother to me. and a built in best friend.
me and jade met in a dance class freshman year and got paired up to do a duo dance and well the rest is history. we haven't been separated ever since. she has became such an important person in my life and she's helped me grow. i love having people in my life that help me grow instead of shrink.
liam and noah met freshman year also, both freshies on the football team. and they both showed up late to the first practice. that right there sealed their bond and they have been best buds ever since.
with me and liam being so close and being granted in going to the same college, my friends became his and vice versa. but it's stayed the four of us for about three years now. but that comes with speculations such as, everyone thinks me and noah are dating and everyone thinks liam and jade are dating. but it's not like that. we're just really great friends who get along well and always have a good time. majority of the time, we're making sure everyone survives the week.
"so changing the subject off of liam's endeavors with females." jade says. "it's a friday night, we don't have plans, why don't we go out tonight?" she asks.
"you know i'm always down." noah says with zero hesitation. that man is always down for a party and a good drink.
"yeah why not, i heard marissa is going out tonight too so maybe ill run into her." liam says and the rest of us roll our eyes and groan. we just stare at him to let him know that we know, he has issues.
"anywaysss, i'm in too." i tell her.
"okay great! sorry gentlemen but you have to go as us ladies need to get ready. pick us back up at 9!" jade tells them as she's signaling them to get up from their seats and leads them to the door.
"time to get to work now honey, we only have a few hours to get ready." jade says all bubbly and shiny.
"can we get food first?" i ask her with a pouty voice. she darts her eyes over to me and looks at me like i'm crazy. "what? i haven't really ate much today and if i'm going to drink, i need food. that's if you want me to get drunk with you." i tell her, basically giving her no choice.
"fine. but we're ordering pick up and coming straight back." she tells as an order. i just give her a salute.
