Taehyung and Jungkook have always hated eachother. But what happens when destiny plays it's little game and both of them find out they are each others soulmates?
After that little eye contact, somehow both the boy's started avoiding eachother. Even when all of them ate lunch together, they tried not to make sarcastic comments to eachother. The usual pranks they used to pull on eachother stopped as well.
The other's thought it was a good thing for the first few weeks, they thought maybe the two of them finally got their minds cleared and decided to work on their relationship.
But they were wrong. They started acting as strangers instead. When they had to stay in the same space, they pretended the other didn't exist. And it's been going on for almost four months now.
But those two kept on getting more and more frustrated now. Mates are meant to love eachother and be with eachother, it's their instincts. But not being able to do it is just irritating them more and more to the point it's almost unbearable. But the thought of ever getting in any relationship with the other disgust them just as much.

"Ok class, your midterms are in a month. I'll give you your project that you need to submit before exam. I'll pair you guys. Make sure you submit it on time." The teacher said and left the classroom, while the students groaned.
Their phones pinged with a notification and it was the list of names sent by the teacher in their group chat, that every class has for every subject.
"Me and who the fuck?" Jungkook said while staring at the names.
Taehyung groaned, "Great. The teacher just had to pair me up with the greatest fucking idiot ever."
Jungkook scoffed, "That should be my line. You can't even do basic math."
"Basic math? Get your head fucking checked Jeon, because last time I checked, I almost got full marks in maths."
"Almost." Jungkook air quoted the word and laughed, "You think that's a flex? Oh god. You are such a fucking idiot that you cannot even comprehend how stupid you are, but it makes sense since even your own brain can't comprehend your own stupidity."
"At least I actually have a brain, unlike you, whose brain has more holes than swiss cheese."
"That's because your brain has less mass than a fart."
"If your brain is so great, why haven't you tried to fill it with some actual intelligence?"
By now both of them were on their feets, fuming with anger. The only thing they wanted was to gain the upper hand.
"At least I can use my brain unlike you." Jungkook said.
"You have no right to compare yourself with me. Oh god, I fucking hate being paired up with you."
"The feeling is mutual, fucker."
"Then why don't we switch places, because I would rather be anywhere else than next to you!"
"Shut the fuck up, no one wants to be with you either."
"You are such a bitch that I wish you were never born!" Taehyung said, saying whatever the fuck came in his mind without thinking.
Jungkook scoffed, "Well I am glad I was born, but then again, you being born didn't really contribute to anything, did it?" He smirked, "Your life has as much meaning as some dead piece of wood."
"The dead piece of wood probably has more meaning than your entire existence." Taehyung gritted his teeths, "You being born ain't even enough to have your parents stay home once a month."
Jungkook pushed aside the desk and held his collar and pulled him forward, "Yeah because your parents love you so much don't they? Specially your dad." He snickered, "this really does show whose existence has more meaning huh."
Taehyung's hands balled into a fist by his side and without thinking he swung it towards Jungkook's face and punched his cheek.
Jungkook didn't wait another second and went forward and punched him as well.
They went forward to hit one another again, when their friends pulled them back from eachother.
"Leave me! I'm going to beat the shit out of this fucker today."
"You bitch, do you think I would just let you? You would be on the floor with blood all over your face by the time I'm done with you!"
They didn't have to go this far because of this small matter but all the pent up frustration from the past few months, ever since they found out they are mates, was coming out right now and also they are Taehyung and Jungkook. Arguing and hurting eachother is a common thing between both of them.
"Calm the fuck down, guy's!'' Jin said, pushing the two away from eachother.
"Someone call the teacher!" One of the student said.
"What the fuck do you think you are doing?" Jimin said. "Hitting eachother? Are you guys for real?" He said in disbelief.
"What the hell is going on?"
Everyone turned towards the door when the teacher's voice was heard. Taehyung and Jungkook glared at eachother but calmed down.
"You two, principal's office. Now.''

"What is this behaviour?"
Taehyung and Jungkook stared at the floor, while the principal scolded them, in his office.
"Taehyung, Jungkook. I didn't expect this from you both. You guys are the toppers, you should be more responsible! What example are you setting for your juniors huh? And how many times do we have to warn you both to stop creating scenes in school?"
"Sorry sir." Both of them said, their eyes casted down.
"Sorry won't do. You guy's are suspended for a week."
Both of them looked up wide eyed.
"Sir?"
"Suspended?"
"You both may leave."
"But sir-"
"I said leave, Taehyung."
Both of them bowed and left.

"Suspended!?" Hoseok asked, wide eyed.
"Serves you guy's right." Jin scoffed, "Go on, throw some more punches."
Both the boy's sighed, "it just happened, okay?" Taehyung said, irritated.
"You! You keep your mouth shut." Jimin said, glaring at the other, "why the hell did you hit him first? Did you forget you were in a damn classroom?"
Taehyung opened his mouth to say something but Jungkook spoke up first, "what more can we expect from him- ouch- hey!!" Jungkook rubbed the back of his head, where Yoongi hit him, with a small pout.
Taehyung let out a scoff and smirked but then winched as well when Namjoon hit the back of his head.
