Aiah's POV

After our teachers dismissed us, I excused myself to our friends and said go ahead first, and I would just follow them in the cafe. I walk my way to the rooftop.

I've been here at the rooftop for about 10 minutes when I decided to message her.

I was about to open my phone when she arrived and roamed her eyes around as if she'd been looking for someone. When our eyes met, she walked towards me and said, "How long have you been here?" while looking at her watch.

"Just 15 minutes ago, they're in our spot at the cafe" I answered while looking at her.

"Yup, I know. Gwen sent me a DM earlier" she simply said and looked away.

"Look, mikhs, alam ko na iniiwasan mo'ko" I said in a sad tone, turning my eyes to the other buildings.

"Me and Colet went together because we're going to the same place. she's part of the family dinner" I explained and looked at her.

"Yeah, you told me that earlier" she answered, looking serious at me.

"She's my cousin, Mikhs," I added, and she was shocked.

"SHE'S YOUR WHAT?" Mikha exclaimed.

"My best friend is your cousin, and why didn't she tell me a thing?" she added.

"Yes, me and Colet are cousins. So if you're jealous, you don't have to, mikhs" I said, assuring her that nothing's going on with me and Colet.

"I'm not jealous, and I'm going to tell you Jazz has a boyfriend. We're friends, so you don't have to be jealous, Aiah" she said, looking into my eyes.

"Me?? Jealous?" I said and looked away.

"I saw how you looked at her earlier in the library. that's why she joined you and Colet in the cafeteria" she said, holding my hands.

"I'm going to tell you something," she added.

"Mhm, ano yun?" I asked her.

"The first time I met you, you already caught my attention, and I believe destiny brought you guys into our section for me to have a chance to get to know you more. This feeling is new to me because I've never been this interested in a person. you're the first person who makes me feel that I'm enough, cared for, and loved. I like you, Aiah, No. I love you, Maraiah Queen Arceta," she said, which shocked me.

So she's really jealous! To be honest, I like her too. I'm just trying to hide my feelings because I'm too scared to confess-scared of rejections.

"You don't have to answer me now, Aiah. Take your time. I'm always willing to wait if it means being with you in the future" she said, holding my hand, assuring me that her feelings are pure and genuine.

"Thank you, Mikhs. I appreciate you" I answered, and I smiled at her sweetly.

"Let's follow them in the cafe," she asked me while still holding my hand.

"Hmm, let's go" I answered, looking and smiling at her.

We went to our spot in the cafe to hang out with our friends and have lunch with them. We even did a brainstorming session for our graded recitation in one of our subjects.

After our lunch break, we went back to our room and listened to what our teacher was discussing. After our last three subjects, we packed our things and got ready to leave.

We're now walking towards the school parking when my phone receives a notification. It's from her, it's from Mikha.
