Chapter 16

Y/N's Pov

"I am Y/N Stark." I say a bit annoyed.
"...and why are you here?" this dude asks.
"She's one of the avengers" Nat says "and she wants to help us destroy the red room."
"You want to destroy the red room?
Natalia you know you can't even find it." he says sounding a bit bored. "That's the reason you're here." Nat says even more annoyed.
"I don't know where it is!"
Nat who now gets angry starts yelling at him
"Oh don't act like you weren't best buds with him. So spit it out! Where is he?"
"I'm being honest I have no clue. This asshole brought me in this prison but maybe Melina knows where the red room is."
"Melina?" Nat asks "she wasn't even that close with him."
"Oh no you don't know she was like his evil mastermind. I'm sure she still works for him."

We're flying somewhere. I totally lost orientation.
Our destination being a ranch where Melina, who I get to know as the fake mom of Nat and Yelena, lives.
Everything is in an awkward silence. I think because Yelena and Nat hate Alexei and between Nat and me... You know is everything a bit weird.

We landed to my relief.

On the 'ranch'

I got to meet Melina who is a woman with dark brown hair. Her ranch is not really a ranch. I don't know if she's like a fan of pigs because there are only pigs there. Who knows what she is doing with them. Kinda weird if you ask me but okay.

We now sit together on a kitchen table and Alexei is gone to try his costume on? He comes back to us and I wish I wouldn't have seen that.
Melina whistles and Alexei looks at her flirty.
Eww it's so awkward for me right now but it looks like not only for me because Yelena and Nat both look at them as disgusted as I do
and Nat lets out an "eww".

"So Natasha" Melina says I wonder why she's calling her by Natasha and not by Natalia.
"Why are you here?"

Nat wants to start explaining as Melina interrupts her
"Oh don't slouch Natasha"
"What I'm not slouching" Nat answers.
Melina trys to argue as Alexei begins to speak.
"Hey hey Ladies come on this is a family reunion we don't want any bad blood."
I look at Nat for her reaction and I can see her getting even more annoyed. "You know that we aren't a actually family, all this was fake. It's not real. It was never real."

I watch Yelena whos face gets sadder and I notice the tears forming. "Please don't say that. Do you know how I feel. The best part of my life was fake and none of you told me." Yelena walks away with a beer and Alexei follows her telling Melina he'll talk to Yelena.

I'm not sure if I should break the silence but I do it either way.
"So how do we find the red room?" I ask Melina hoping it would make the situation better. Lets say I miserably failed. Melina wants to answer me as Nat shouts at me.

"Are you serious Y/N?" She looks angry but I can see a hint of sadness in her eyes. " You won't come with us!" What did she just say. I open my mouth to argue but I stay silent. "You're hurt and you have no clue of what you are getting yourself into It would be selfish of me if I let you come with us."

Is she being serious. I did everything and stayed with her. I lost my brother and my friends and now she is leaving me behind. I'm not weak! I don't need protection.

All this is in my mind. Everything with what I could argue back but I remain silent. I feel my self falling apart being ripped apart and put together. No no no. The glitching thing. I can't see Nat or Melina. Everything is blurry and I run away...

I find my self back to the foreyard where I go down to my knees and silently cry and scream as my weird glitch thing becomes lesser and lesser.
My vision comes back after what feels like hours and I see to masked men in black coming towards me. I don't even have the time to react as they take me with them. I feel someone hit on my back head and I lose consciousness.

Natasha's Pov

Shit I totally lost it and screamed at
Y/N.
I ... I don't even know why. I mean I just want her safe but I know I can't baby her she hates that. I mean of course who doesn't.

I want to stand up and follow her as she storms out the room but Melina holds me by my arm.
"I think you should give her some time till she calmed down." I have a bad feeling about this but she's probably right.

"So do you know how to get there?"
"The position of the red room is changing constantly and no widow knows where it is. But since I work for him in an more important position he trust me enough so I can bring you there if you have a plan"

Y/N's Pov

I'm in a dark room when someone turns on the light.
I lay on a bed like in a hospital and I see a doctor or kind of that who comes to me and gives me an injection. Everything goes black again...
