The two limousines pulled up in front of the building ten minutes after Kim Rian's mother started her awfully long and boring speech.

"Ready to crush the party?" Jaei's father asked the other family, making everyone nod.

South Korea, albeit being a westernized country, was still very patriarchal, so the fathers went in first, with the sons and mothers following, and lastly, there were Jaei and Bitna.

As they interrupted Ms. An's speech, all eyes settled on them, and before Yunho knew it, the whole room was bowing to them out of sheer respect.

Once the two families settled in front of the woman in charge, she had no other choice but to raise her glass and toast to the children.

"Quite a show she put on, don't you think?" Yunho chuckled when he saw the woman's dress.

"Yunho, it's not nice to laugh at people's fashion sense," Bitna chuckled with him, her hand over her mouth to make her seem more ladylike.

She had locked eyes with Kang Ha a few times, and every one of those times his eyes were longer on her than hers were on him.

"How are you feeling today, Miss Ko Bitna?" a male voice asked from behind, making both Yunho and Bitna, who were left alone when their parents went to properly talk with Jaei's father and greet Rian's mother, turn around.

"I'm feeling satisfied with the venue," the girl smiled as she let the man kiss her hand, "What about you, Lee Woojin?"

"Well, I am all better now that I see you are here to bless us all with your undying beauty," the boy smiled cheekily at her, "Tell me your secret, would you? Were you blessed by Aphrodite?"

"Can you stop?" Yunho asked, his voice coming off strong and annoyed.

"Yunho, it's fine. This is Lee Woojin, one of the only elites who still tolerates me," Bitna introduced her friend to her brother, "And Woojin, this is Jung Yunho, my younger brother. He will most likely be joining Jooshin next year."

"Nice to meet you, Yunho," Woojin put his hand out for Yunho to shake, which the younger did while apologizing for his rude tone, "It's fine, kid. I wasn't offended. I know that if I had a sister as gorgeous as her, I'd be overprotective, too."

"Stop it woth the flirting, Woojin," Bitna chuckled, "Someone might get the wrong idea."

"Bitna," Yunho gained her attention before pointing subtly at a girl around his age, "You see that girl?"

"Yes," Bitna nodded, "What about her?"

By now, Woojin had left them to go talk to Yeji and Bada.

"That's the girl I was telling you about," Yunho said, failing to hide his excitement, "Her name is Choi Yuna."

"Oh," Bitna didn't know what to say, "Do you want me to introduce you to her family?"

"You know them?" Yunho asked in shock.

"Yes," Bitna nodded, "I know their son, at least."

"Can you please introduce me to them?" Yunho begged her.

"Of course, Yunho," Bitna replied, masking her displease of the whole situation behind a smile, "Just promise me you'll act normal, whoever you meet there."

"Okay," the boy was obviously too excited to process her words properly. She grabbed his hand and dragged him over to where the girl he wanted to talk to was, and to where one of the boys who hated her the most were.

"Hello," Bitna bowed to their parents out of respect before continuing, "My younger brother, Yunho, wanted to say hi to your daughter since they sit together in class and have been talking recently, but he was too shy when he saw that she was here with her whole family."

Yunho and Yuna greeted each other with bright smiles, while the older siblings had a gloomy aura settle upon them, "I am very sorry for how things ended between you two. I hope you can forgive him one day, sweetheart," Yunseok's mother was a true angel, unlike the shallow surface of her son. Bitna had never dug deep enough to see what the boy was on the inside, but she wasn't going to anymore.

"I forgave him when we broke up, ma'am," Bitna reassured her with a polite smile, "I hope their friendship lasts a little longer than our bond did. Yunho has been talking about your daughter for a week now, he really seems to like her."

"She's been talking about him, too, which we all found weird," the woman chuckled, "They would fit well together, wouldn't they?"

"Let's just hope there won't be any misunderstandings," Bitna could hear her father calling for her, so she excused herself and walked over to where her father was. She couldn't spot her mother, but greeted the rest of the adults in the small circle and introduced herself politely.

"You are such a nice young lady, Bitna," Rian's mother smiled brightly at her, "I would love for my son to find himself a girlfriend like you in the future. Would you two like to have some time alone?"

"I'm sorry, ma'am, but your son hasn't been the nicest to me for a few months now, and I wouldn't want to be alone with him," Bitna stirred the pot. She started a chain reaction that nobody would be able to stop.

"And why was he behaving rudely towards you?" Rian's mother looked at him, and both he and Bitna knew she wasn't going to let this drop.

"Because I am adopted, Ms. An," Bitna replied. She had no problem with telling people the truth.

Hera joined the circle, briefly introduced herself, and dragged Kang Ha with her.

"This is Jaei's boyfriend," Hera smirked when she saw the look on Jaei's face, "He's the living proof of our school's motto, noblesse oblige."

Kang Ha didn't seem uncomfortable, but his eyes were begging for Bitna to forgive him. She knew she had no choice but to forgive and forget, because he was one of the only people that could help her get revenge on Kim Rian, the boy who singlehandedly ruined her life.

He didn't only ruin her life three months ago when he decided to spread the message around the school, he ruined her life way before that.

Kim Rian ruined Ko Bitna's life when he bet her to date Choi Yunseok, and she already chose truth in the last round, so her only option was to go with the dare.
