~Your POV~
It's been several months since Sam came to us and I've started to see a change in the dynamic of the group, it's tense. They know something isn't right. It's a matter of time before we have to strike. We know what the hall looks like inside and out and all the prep from before is done, all we need to do is hit the green light.
It's family dinner night and Ranboo is hosting. We all talk about what's been happening with Sam.
"I've seen the dynamic and they're all tense, George and Sap know something is up." I say.
"Can we trust him?" Tubbo asks.
"I think we can." Phil says.
"Me too." Techno says.
"Well if Techno trusts him, then I think we all can." Puffy says.
We come to a unanimous agreement on the plan and we're going to free those villagers in a week and then it'll all be over. The DreamTeam will be no more, we kill George and Sapnap and it's over.
~Sapnap's POV~
We finally figured out what Sam has been doing and he won't be able to betray us anymore. We knew that he was being watched and didn't try to do anything just to see what was happening, there were a few times that we didn't see anyone, but we steered clear just in case they were hidden too well. But Sam is no longer a threat to us, and we have the coordinates to the portal that leads to (y/n)'s new base.
I go to The Plaza, it's almost like our building but bigger and better. I go in and go to the basement. There isn't much down here except for some storage and a special little spot for people like (y/n) and now, Sam. Wrists chained with a singular link of slack, same with the ankles. He perks up at the sound of my footsteps.
"Still alive?"
"Yea."
"Hmph. You know, you could have helped us, but noooo you had to chase after that bitch you called a significant other."
"She is not a bitch!" Sam yells, "You better not hurt them or so help me, both the Blood God and I will reign hell upon you."
"That would be a convincing threat if I didn't know you were like this right now." I say.
"Oh I'll get out, and you'll wish you kept your southern ass out of my business."
"Once again, a would be convincing threat." I say as I head back, "Alright, George will be down with some food in a bit."
"You know its humiliating to be fed like that." he says.
"Should have thought of that before betraying us."
~Sam's POV~
Is this how (y/n) felt? Metaphorically of course. Being chained, nothing more than a plaything for Dream's darkest desires? If this is what it feels like physically, how does it feel mentally? They pretended for so long, but I could tell that deep down this what their mind looked like. A person, chained, never to see the sun again, forced to become a machine, a weapon. Dream viewed them as nothing more than an iron golem is to villagers and treated them as such.
I need to stand up so I can at least get some blood to my legs and try undo the hinges of the cuffs. I can't get my feet under me with the way these damn links are. I try to pull myself up and I can slowly feel the blood start to flow into my legs, I need to be able to move but this is better than the position I was in.
Now to these hinges. They're just a pin held in by a bolt, I wrap my fingers around the bolt as best I can, and it turns a little bit, I continue the motion until I hear footsteps approaching. I get back down and hope that George doesn't notice that the bolt is a little loose. The last thing I need is for locktite to be put on these things.
~Your POV~
The week consists of several hours set aside for training and sparing in preparation for storming the place because they've got watches set aside every night, waiting for us. They know we're going to strike first, and we're going to be prepared for them. Knowing them, it's Bad and Quackity first followed by Sam and Skeppy. We need to get there right as they're switching, we need to know when that happens, but I haven't heard anything from Sam in several days... come to think of it, it's been almost a week.
I spar with Technoblade and I'm not going easy on him, I've gotten better over the months and have become fairly equal with Techno. I use my anxiety as fuel to keep going. We've both been sparing for a while when I give in to my body and drop my sword as the sign of surrender.
"It's about time." Techno says through huffs, "I thought you'd never quit."
"I was waiting for you, but that wasn't going to happen." I say as I put a hand to my side to try and help myself with my breathing. We take off our armor and make a protein heavy meal, perfect for after our sparing session. We have some rabbit stew and cornbread at my place, the perfect meal for a cold evening. I enjoy Techno's company as a bird pecks on my window, about damn time Sam. I open the door to see the small paper on my porch, I pick it up expecting to see the time the switch over is.
Yall are busted
379, 68, 129I drop the note and run grab my armor, I have never strapped it on so fast. I see Technoblade strapping his armor on, furious.
"Why did you let me trust him?"
"That's not him, not his handwriting. That's gotta be either Sap or George." I say as I grab my sword, Techno grabs my arm and pulls me in for a long passionate kiss. I melt into it; he pulls away and he pulls his mask over his face.
"If I haven't told you enough already, I love you. I love you forever." he says holding my face.
"I love you forever." I say, "Now we gotta warn the others."
The door slams open and there stands Sapnap, "You don't need to warn the others."
