An Unexpected Alliance

~Quackity's POV~

"We kill them." I say.

"Yes, but how?"

"They'll be back I know, it's a matter of when and we'll have Redstone take care of all that for us." I say, "They're all gonna come through that portal and think they have us simply because they outnumber us, about 2:1."

"Ok..."

"But we're gonna make help, double, maybe triple their numbers." I say.

"And how are we gonna do that?"

"Sapnap's iron farm."

"So we're gonna take pretty much all the iron and make 20+ iron golems?" Skeppy asks.

"Precisely." 

"Whatever floats your boat Q." Skep says, "I'll go tell Bad."

"And when you do, go get some rest."

~Technoblade's POV~

(y/n) did not in fact sleep for a week, they slept for about an hour before getting up and washing the blood off and changing into something more comfortable. I do the same and discard my blood covered clothes. Those damn voices always telling me that violence is the answer. (y/n) prepares a light fruit bowl to tide us over till the morning.  I lie down in bed with (y/n), curled up at my side using my chest as their pillow for the night. My hand plays with their (h/l), (h/c) hair and in minuets they're asleep. They look so at peace, like they know they're safe. I've tried to repress the feelings associated with that night and it's not been easy. When Sam brought it up, I could tell that he feels just as guilty as I do. 

I know there's a kinship between Sam and (y/n), I know that (y/n) said that Dream broke them up by feeding (y/n) lies and it hurt Sam a great deal. I can tell he still cares for (y/n) a whole lot, but he's not letting that get in the way of everything else; He must be searching for closure by trying to help us, I try to put myself in his shoes. To have (y/n) ripped away from me by that monster and forced to live with it and work with them? I would be looking for vengeance first, and I guess Sam got it, sort of. Now he's out for the rest of it, and that'll be his closure. When this is all said and done, I would love to take Sam up as a brother in arms, like how Phil did for me and I did Ranboo and Tubbo. To have him in the syndicate would be a great pleasure.

:Time Skip:
~Philza's POV~

Today is the day that we take out this Quackity character. Sam has told me that he's the only one we have to worry about since 'Bad" and 'Skeppy' would gladly rebuild the village as a village and not an emerald factory. 

"You know that the instant (y/n) hears about this, they're gonna wanna go and then that brings Techno, right?" I say.

"I'm not letting them come, this needs to be as lowkey as possible." Sam says.

"Good luck, if (y/n) wants to come, they come, if they want someone to stay, they stay."

"That's what got them rapped, and I'm not going to allow them to be at risk of that again." Sam says.

"You were there when that happened?" I ask.

"I was, I was one of the ones who helped them get tied. I'm sure you know about my past with them, and I will never allow them to be in that position again." Sam says, "Then Technoblade told me several nights ago how be begged (y/n) for him to come along, but they insisted that he didn't and then..."

"Dream rapped them."

"Yes. The 'DreamTeam' has messed me up too, more than I care to admit. I can't sleep at night for fear of being ripped from my own bed."

"We will help you Sam." I say, "But first, we gotta kill this guy."

"Right."

We go head to the portal and (y/n) and Technoblade come out of the house, "And where do you think you two are going?"

"No (y/n)." Sam says.

"I tried to tell you." I say.

"We need to keep this low key and I know you know how Big Q is, but you need to stay here."

"I agree with Sam on this love." Techno says.

"But-"

"Agh, no. Please, we can't let you get hurt again."

"But I've not been hurt."

"Yes you have and none of us could do a thing about it until it was said and done." Sam tells (y/n), "You're safer with Technoblade than me." (y/n)'s eyes become sad, "I'm sorry."

"No. I'm going with you." (y/n) says firmly, "You're going a suicide mission Sam."

"As long as it means you're safe. You only have one life (y/n) and you have no totems."

"I have totems so I'm going."

"No you're not." 

"Yes I am.

"No you're not.

"Yes I am." (y/n) says stepping closer to the portal.

"No love, you're not." Technoblade says pulling (y/n) away from the portal. I can see anger welling up.

"No! I need to go!" they say.

"No (y/n) you don't." Sam says putting his hands on their shoulders, "You can stop protecting, you're not a weapon anymore."

"That's not why I need to go." They say, "I'm the reason why you wanted to join us in the first place so now I need to help do what I planned on doing a long time ago."

"(y/n), hun you need to stay here." Techno says.

"Yes, yes you do." Sam says.

"But Sam-" There's big tears starting to well up in their eyes. They're so used to being a weapon that they don't know what to do with themself. 

"Don't 'but Sam' me. You're going to stay right here with Technoblade. I couldn't live with myself if anything happened to you."

"You're talking like you still love me." (y/n) scoffs.

"That's because I do! But I'm not going to take you away from Technoblade because you love him just as much as I love you!" Sam says, "That's why I wanted to go by myself, to keep you safe. Then Phil came which made the plan a whole lot easier." (y/n) stands there in shock, "Now please, stay here."

Sam goes through the portal and I follow close behind.

"Sam wait!"
