An Unexpected Alliance

~Sam's POV~

"Sam wait!" I can hear (y/n) shout before I fully cross over into the neather. I have no idea how my words may have effected them, but it had to be said. I let Technoblade know that I wasn't a threat to their relationship even though I still have feelings for (y/n) after Sap went on his mission. I lead Phil to the portal that leads to the village. 

"I'll go first so I can get in the sky." he says.

"That works perfectly." I say. 

He goes through first and I wait around for a while. I know this whole highway like the back of my hand, each path all more familiar than the last. I hear the crunching of neatherack and brush it off as a zombie piglin, but the steps are so fast. I turn and the the armored figure of (y/n) sprinting towards me. 

"I thought I told you to stay." I say firmly.

"Well you could have told me sooner!" (y/n) says out of breath, "I have not ran that far in a while."

"I didn't want to with everything Dream fed you." I say.

"You're smart enough to have known when I woke up." they tell me.

"I actually tried not to pay much attention to you, to make Dream happy. You weren't the only one that he fed lies to." I say, " Also, by that point it was too late, you had already fallen for Technoblade."

Speak of the devil here he come, running.

"Oh thank god you're not through that portal." he says with relief. He doesn't even have armor on.

"Well I'm here now and the portal is right there, we might as well go." they say. 

I sigh and pinch the bridge of my nose, "I've forgotten how difficult you can be sometimes. Fine, but you're staying out of this until I need you, which is unlikely."

"That works." (y/n) says with that smile, the 'I got what I want smile'. 

I go through the swirls and come out to the middle of the village like normal. I spot Phil in the sky and Quackity by the fields, he was not expecting us. I loudly draw my sword to get his attention he spins around with a hoe in hand.

"Don't you fuckers usually attack at night?" he asks.

"Not me." I say, "Now I have a sword and you have a hoe, how is this gonna work?"

"I'll make it work." Quackity says as he charges at me.

"We'll see about that." I say as I step out of the way. 

He swings at me and I just dodge his attacks, it's really boring if you ask me then I see something catches his attention I look, and see (y/n) with a crossbow aimed in the trees. It's Bad, Quackity throws the hoe at (y/n) as they release the arrow into the tree, pinning Bad's arm. (y/n) then takes their sword and swings at Quackity, getting his eye. (y/n) retreats into a house to hide. Quackity goes after (y/n), he goes in the hosue they went in. I think they went into mine and if they're smart, they're hiding in the roof. Technoblade isn't far behind, but he's being a lot stealthier than normal.

He has no armor on...

He's taunting Quackity and I go between the two before Quackity releases an arrow from his crossbow. 

"He will kill you Technoblade." I say, "Especially with no armor."

"I know I'm taking a big risk here." I say, I hear the tink of an arrow bounce off my armor. I see a gaping hole through Quackity's shoulder. He steps out of the house and loads a fire work into his crossbow. We both run and I take out a god apple and hand it to Technoblade.

"I can't take this from you." he says.

"I have armor on, you don't and the longer we talk the closer he gets, eat it."

"Armor or no armor, a firework is nothing to play with." 

"Take it Technoblade, plea-" I hear the hiss of the firework coming for us and Techno uses his body to guard mine as it hits him, I also hear (y/n) scream and Quackity's body hit the ground. 

~Bad's POV~

I've been watching the show from up in my tree, low key grateful that (y/n) pinned my sleeve to the tree so I didn't have to help Big Q. I watch the guy with wings lose and arrow as Quackity releases the firework. It's almost like it all happens in slow motion, Technoblade shields Sam with his body because his gold armor will melt to his skin, and the goes straight for Big Q's chest, it pierces straight through him, and he falls dead along with Technoblade.

I see (y/n) run to the Blood God. He's dead, he didn't have a totem and (y/n) screams as they pick up the once mighty Technoblade. (y/n) take the mask off and I can see a tender moment happen, Technoblade goes to cup (y/n)'s face and they share a kiss as Sam looks for any kind of potion to help. Technoblade shakes his head, I can see (y/n) beg and they turn to go help look. We don't have any potions left after the original building burned and the attempted raid from a few days ago. (y/n) digs around their own pockets and pulls out a splash potion of healing, Teachnoblade protests and about the time (y/n) is about to splash it around the two of them, Technoblade snatches it and throws it, making them cry harder. 

The guy with the wings kneels down with (y/n) reassuring them of something and Sam joins them. Technoblade cups (y/n)'s face one more time before kissing them with what I assume is his last bit of energy. I see (y/n) pull away and they're visibly shaking. He's now dead. I can tell (y/n) wants to scream from their open mouth, but there is no sound. (y/n) wraps their arms around the now dead Technoblade, now I can hear their sobs. Sam pulls (y/n) away from the body and the guy with wings starts to tend to the body. Sam holds the shaking (y/n), I have never seen them cry like this before. I yank the arrow out of my sleeve and climb my way down the tree. 

I tend to Quackity's body and resolve to cremating it tonight, along with everyone else.
