Chapter 75- He Deserves To Know

(The Next Day)

(Richard's POV)

It has been a very stressful 24 hours and honestly I'm fucking exhausted; I've been constantly on the phone to managers of all kinds, trying to reschedule the rest of the tour since Maisie has become our top priority plus if I really know Till Lindemann, I know he won't simply return to the tour whilst the love of his life is sick. 

Aside from Till and I; the rest of Rammstein are returning home to Berlin since the tour has come to a complete halt and to be honest, I couldn't continue the tour knowing Maisie is sick. 

I don't know what has actually happened or what has affected her, I just know that she is in critical condition at this current moment and she needs all the calmness and support she can obtain from us. 

"Alright guys, I'm off to the hospital" I grabbed my coat from the lobby couch of the hotel we were still situated at "give my love to Maisie and keep me posted" Ollie smiled walking towards me "of course, I will keep you all posted" I smiled soft seeing Flake walking towards me.

"When is she coming home" Flake asked "I'm not sure yet; like I've said, I'll keep everyone posted" I smiled soft once again before Ollie and Flake walked outside towards the cars.

"Tell Maisie I miss her and give her this" Schneider walked towards me with a medium sized wrapped present within his hands "what have you brought her" I asked curious "its just a little present to say I miss her and I really hope she gets better soon" Schneider smiled soft at me as he passed over the present.

"Richard" Schneider asked seriousness within his voice "yeah Schneider" I asked giving him direct eye contact "is she actually ok, what is actually wrong her" Schneider began bombarding me with questions "I cannot say; I promise I will let you know what's wrong as soon as I know, I promise" I smiled soft "I'll see you later then" Schneider sighed before he started walking away towards the cars outside. 

"I'm gonna miss you boo" I suddenly heard Paul and soon saw him walking over to me "I'm gonna miss you too baby" I smiled soft before placing the present down upon the floor and hugging Paul tight within my arms.

"Are you sure you don't want me to come...you know moral support" Paul asked pulling away from me "there is stuff Maisie has only revealed to Till and I and she would prefer to leave it as that" I explained stroking his cheeks "you know within her own time, she'll tell you" I smiled at him.

"Are you ok" Paul asked as I continued stroking his cheeks "I'm just frightened at the moment considering I don't know what condition she is really in" I sighed sadly "I'm just a phone call away and you know that baby" Paul smiled before engulfing me within a tight hug.

"I love you my Paulchen" I pressed my lips to his forehead "I love you too baby boo" he smiled before pecking my lips "I need to go; call me tonight love" Paul smiled at me "I promise to call you" I kissed him softly upon his lips before walked outside and I saw everyone getting into their cars. 

Once everyone had left; I grabbed the present Schneider gave me and I got into the back of my own car and had one of my drivers to take me to the hospital. 

I arrived at the hospital and told my driver to wait outside for me since I too will be on my way to the airport so I can return to Berlin, hopefully with Maisie and Till following soon. 

"Hi I'm here to see Maisie Blaine" I walked towards the hospital reception "of course; she is in room 235 in the critical care ward, it's straight down this hallway and it's to your right" she directed me "thank you" I smiled and started following the directions. 

I soon found her room and saw her sat up within her bed, multiple wires connected to her and she definitely wasn't her normal self; I've never seen her like this before, lifeless is all I can describe her. 

"Mais girl" I knocked upon her hospital door and slowly walked in "hi Reesh" she smiled soft "hi girl, I've missed you so much" I smiled placing the present down upon the bed table and giving her a light hug "I've missed you too Reesh; how is everyone" she asked as I sat upon the chair next to her bed "missing the hell out of you to be honest" I sighed a little.

"How are you, honestly" I asked bluntly "I don't know Reesh; I'm just an emotional train wreck at the moment and I want to turn back time prior to the accident and just return to work" she sighed sadly "I know girl; it must be fucking horrible right now" I sighed not knowing how to properly comfort her.

"Is that present for me" she asked curious looking at the present "oh yeah; it's from Schneider" I explained handing it to her "he didn't need to get me a present" she rolled her eyes before she started to open it, soon revealing a get well soon card and a stuffed wolf animal.

"Aw it's lovely and it's very soft" Maisie cuddled the toy a little "it's cute" I smiled before she proceeded to open the card "aw Schneider is so cute; he's got everyone to sign it" she smiled placing the card upon the bed table but I saw something dark lurking within her eyes which has made me want to question Maisie further. 

"Something's wrong" I pointed out "oh Reesh" she sighed in defeat "I'm in such a confused state" she sighed "what do you mean Mais" I asked grabbing her right hand to comfort her. 

She inhaled sharply before closing her eyes, almost like she didn't want to even think about anything let alone reveal anything to anyone. 

"Maisie, what's wrong baby" I asked "I really need to tell Till something but I have no idea how he'll react to it" she sighed before looking at me "is it strictly only something Till should know or can you reveal it to anyone" I questioned anxiously "strictly only Till should know but..."she inhaled sharply before I saw tears descended upon her cheeks.

"Baby, hey don't cry girl" I immediately stood up from the chair and sat next to her upon the bed, cuddling her tightly within my arms.

"If you really can't tell Till...you know I will bury whatever you tell me within my soul for eternity" I reassured Maisie before I kissed her head softly "I was..."she halted before glancing up at me "pregnant" she began to sob which immediately made me tighten my grip upon her.

"Fuck me; how far were you gone" I asked as shock coursed through my system "I was only a month gone" she wiped her eyes before glancing at me once again "but...I'm so confused" she sighed before I suddenly witnessed her facial expression turn.

"Oh fuck it hurts" she gripped tightly upon her chest "Maisie what's wrong; do you need a doctor" panic surged through me "no...I" she breathed heavy whilst trying to control her breathing.

"Sorry Reesh; I keep getting these surges of sharp pains coursing within my heart" she explained as she began to relax once again.

"It's the current steroid medication I'm on in preparation for my on-going treatment" she explained once again before she gave me direct eye contact "what will be the on-going treatment and why do you need to prepare for it" I asked curious whilst cuddling her.

"My on-going treatment is a continuous steroid injection once a week for 2 hours" she exclaimed "and I'm in preparation for it because if I were to start on the dosage, it would be too much upon my heart and would just send it into heart failure" she smiled soft at me.

"Oh baby; you don't deserve any of this" I cuddled Maisie tight within my arms, not wanting to release her "I'm doing ok; it was the loss of the baby that's concerning me more" she sighed sadly.

"Why are you confused about it baby" I asked glancing at her "because for the longest time; I swore to myself I never wanted children...but since being with Till, that has shifted and I'm not sure how he's gonna react" she sighed resting her head upon my chest.

"You need to tell him baby; Till deserves to know and maybe you both need to discuss whether you both actually want children" I explained stroking her arms to comfort her.

"I've known Till for a long time and it will hurt him deeply if you don't tell him about the pregnancy now" I kissed her head "ok and you make a valid point to discuss children with him" she smiled up at me before she closed her eyes intensely.

"Are you ok Mais" I asked "I'm just exhausted, I need to rest a little" she cuddled up towards my chest and I wrapped my arms around her tight. 

"I love you Maisie girl" I kissed her head.
