"Operation has begun. Now, you three set out and capture as many valuable Pokèmon as you can. If you're ever needed, we will find you." Rocket Admin Ariana spoke to the trio of Jessie James and Meowth. They were on an aircraft high in the air.
A nod in unison, "Right."
"This is New Bark Town. Your hologram should provide you with a map of the region. Now head out." She told them, before a trapdoor beneath them opened, deploying them from the aircraft.
"Ha!" They grunted as they each pressed a button on their sides, launching parachutes from the squares on their backs. What's the first move?

𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐀'𝐬 𝐏𝐎𝐕
"You're gonna hatch soon, I know it." I rubbed the top of the egg with my hand as I held it in my arms. My future Pokèmon is in this egg, and I have to get to Cherrygrove City to see my brother who will prepare me for my journey. The Pokèmon in this egg will be my partner.
Since yesterday, the egg has been shaking every few hours. Since today though, it's been more like every few minutes. "I wonder what you'll hatch into. A flying-type, a fighting-type, or maybe even a cool water-type." The possibilities are endless.
"Let me check the time..." I took one arm off from below the egg to check my watch.
Shake.
Drop.
"My egg!" The egg shook, rolling out of my hand and rolling off of the trail, down the hill and nearing a cliff. I hopped off the trail and ran down the mountain, but the egg was too fast and flew off of the cliff. The egg will be shattered when I find it.
I hurriedly scaled my way down the cliff to the forest below...

Walking along the trail, beside a mountain. "We'll be in Cherrygrove soon. Definitely by today this time." I assured Pikachu.
"Pika pi. (That's good.)" Pikachu sighed. "Pika? (Huh?)" Pikachu looked up at the mountain.
"Hm? What's the matter?" I looked up as well, hearing a slight rumbling sound.

Swoosh!
A round object flew off of a cliff above. It was a bit ahead of us. "What's that?" I squinted my eyes trying to see it better. "Is that.. that's a Pokèmon egg! I have to catch it before it hits the ground!" I ran up ahead, leaping and catching the egg before it could splat. I rolled across the ground and landed on my butt, with the blue egg in my lap.
"Woah, just in time." I let out a deep breath, then the egg shook, before suddenly a bright light flashed from it. "Whoa, is it..."
"STOOOPP!!!" I looked up and there was a girl literally running at full speed down the steep mountain, directly toward me. "THAT EGG IS MINE!!"
