𝐍𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐎𝐑'𝐬 𝐏𝐎𝐕

A brown-haired man appeared on a hologram. It was a video call. "Status update?" He questioned, a deep stern voice.

"Sir, we have gotten two new Pokèmon under our command." The familiar Jessie stood straight, "Misdreavus," her ghost-type floated across the camera.

"and Natu." James finished the sentence, as his psychic flying-type crossed the camera as well.

"And countin'." Meowth added.

The man, Giovanni nodded. He was pleased with this news. "Great. Butch and Cassidy have also been deployed to Johto, though you likely will not see them. Keep capturing and I will let you know of any new missions." He immediately ended the call, leaving the room almost pitch black.

𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐎'𝐬 𝐏𝐎𝐕

"Whoa, so this is Azalea Town." I looked around the place. The town was fairly small. Trees surrounded it on all sides, keeping most of the wind out. It felt very compacted and... homey.

"Here it is. This is my hometown." Toni walked with arms crossed. "Not much to do here."

"I like these small towns. They feel homey." Quinton spoke, and I briefly looked at him, cause that's what just went through my mind. He likes these small towns too.

"Get ready to meet my family soon." She rushed ahead of us and turned around, "Just so you know, don't be intimidated by them. My family is actually really nice when you get to know them. They can just be a bit much." An awkward laughter followed.

Something odd we noticed was the many Slowpoke roaming the town. There were Slowpoke in the yards, on buildings, even napping in the street.

It was fall season, so the tree leaves were beginning to turn orange, and fall to the ground. Leaves crunched with every one of our steps, and the blue sky would slowly get more gray, day by day. It wasn't long before we got to her house. Mentioned before, this town is fairly small. It was a nice, traditional home. Before Toni could knock on the door, it was opened for her..

A woman was about to walk outside. When her eyes landed on Toni, her jaw dropped, "Oh my god look who's homeee!" She pulled the girl into a painful-looking hug. She looked around her mid 30's and wore a white dress, not really complimenting her blonde hair or pale skin.

"Ah- hi mom." She managed to choke out. So that's her mom.

"Oh I am just so happy you're home!" Her mom finally let the struggling girl go and held her hands. "Thomas, come! Look who's home!" She turned her head and called out into the house. She had a bit of a southern accent.

"I'm coming dear!" A man's voice responded, and then he stepped into the door frame. He wore dark gray work pants, like for construction, and a black long-sleeve shirt. He had a short mustache and short black hair. "Antonia! You're home!" He pulled the girl into another tight hug.
