AUTHOR'S NOTE: Hello again!
This fanfiction is supposed to be set BEFORE Miko dresses up in a dress, Shu sees her in it, and they have to pretend to be a couple for the paparazzi. That has not happened yet nor will it happen because....Geun-Seok will take Shu's place.
On sadder news.....I still have 3 years of high school to go through before I can go to college to study to be a English teacher OR a History teacher.
Daily Fact about Me: I do not eat bacon, sausage, or ham. The only pig I eat is.....PORK CHOPS!!!!!
Chapter 2: A Candlelit Picnic
"Miko, where are you going?" Shu asked as Miko stepped from her room, wearing the white lace dress that Yuki picked out for her.
Her shoes were white heels with straps and the bangs of her hair were pulled back from her eyes with a white rose pin. The pin she was wearing was the one that Mio had gotten for her before he left the convent when they went to a fair.
"I am going to meet an old friend that I knew before I joined AN.JELL." Miko explained and Shu still didn't look convinced.
"Where are you meeting them? I'll drive you." Shu suggested as he was about to grab the keys to his red sports car.
"That's the thing...my friend doesn't know I am pretending to be a boy and if they were to find out, they would surely tell someone and I don't want my secret out." Miko explained with a small smile and Shu frowned, stepping away from his keys.
"I understand. Have fun!" Shu said with a grin and Miko grinned back, turning to walk out the door. "Oh and Miko?" Shu called and the brunette turned, staring at her friend with innocent eyes. "We need to talk when you get back." Shu told her with the grin still on his face and Miko nodded before she grabbed her cellphone and closed the door.
But as Miko was walking out of the penthouse, she checked her phone for messages and bumped into a hard body, sending her to the pavement ground. She got up and brushed herself off before grabbing her fallen phone.
"Where are you going dressed like that?" A harsh voice spoke out and Miko's eyes widened as she looked up to see Ren with a scowling face. He was looking her outfit up on down and his eyes showed he was definitely pissed.
"I have a date with an old friend." Miko explained as she checked her legs and arms for scratches or bruises. She let out a breath of relief when she saw none.
Ren growled when he heard the word 'date' come from Miko's mouth. "I'll drive you." Ren repeated the words Shu had said a moment ago. He grabbed Miko's hand and was about to pull her to his car when she ripped her hand from his grasp.
"I'd like to go alone." Miko said persistently as she walked off, passing Ren's surprised face. She tapped the message icon on her phone and texted Geun-Seok who had given her his number earlier.
Geun-Seok: Are you ready for our date?
Miko smiled and texted him as she turned a corner on the street, her heels clacking on the pavement sidewalk.
Miko: Yes, I am in a taxi right now.
As she said this, a taxi turned the corner where she was. Miko whistled and the yellow cab stopped. She thanked the driver as she gave him the directions to the garden.
Geun-Seok: Good! I have a surprise waiting for you!
Miko: Can't wait to see it.
Geun-Seok: Was it hard getting out of the house?
