Magnus's POV:

________________________________________________________________________________

That's right. Me and my brother, the mistakes of the village, are the sons of the most intimidating Viking on this island.

"Okay, but we hit the Furies," Hiccup said quickly.

I knew for a fact that Dad knew that, because at the corner of my eye, I saw Dad watching in horror as we shot them down. That, and the fact that I heard some cheers. Some. I don't know why Dad doesn't want us fighting dragons, but I don't care. Me and Hiccup are going to make our marks before I become chief. No matter how little I want to be chief. But I didn't want to make a scene, so I did the logical thing.

"Come on, Hiccup," I said, faking sadness. "We both know that he's not going to listen. Let's just get back to the house."

"Fine," Hiccup said, also acting.

"Quite the performance," Tuffnut said, causing him to glare. As it does to everyone, it shut him up.

"I've never seen anyone mess up that badly," Said our idiotic and abusive cousin. "That helped!"

"Snotlout, I'm giving you one chance. Back off," I warned him.

"Or what?" He laughed. That is... until I sent my sword his way, purposely missing. "Ha! You missed!"

"No," Hiccup said. "If he aimed for you, you'd have a strong and sharp sword going through your chest."

At that, he gulped when he saw my smirk. "Don't mess with me or my brother," I said, a hand grabbing my sword. "I don't want to, but I will defend both of us."

"How?" He laughed again... until he saw me twist my sword so that the moonlight was reflecting off it.

"By using 'Moonlight' here," I responded. "I haven't gotten a chance to test her out." At this point, the entire village was slowly backing away from me and Hiccup, who also had his sword out.

"And I'm sure 'Sunburster' wants some action as well," Hiccup added, releasing the second blade that's hidden in the hilt by bits of metal that make up the blade. I'm also ready to pull out the second blade on mine as well. "Your choice, Snotlout. We've been training with our swords for the past year, and I'm itching to show them off."

"N-no thanks. I'm good," Snotha-I mean-Snotlout said.

"Good," I said. "Now, if you'd excuse us, we'd like to get some sleep before we have to deal with another nightmare of a day."

With that said, both me and Hiccup sheathed our weapons.

"I'm impressed," I heard Astrid say just before we got out of earshot. I smirked and looked over at a beat root red Hiccup.

"Shut up," He mumbled to me.

"I didn't say anything," I said defensively, putting both hands up to show that I wasn't planning anything.

After me and Hiccup got to the house, we grabbed one of Hiccup's notebooks that had a map of the island and off we went to find our ticket to stop the bullying and daily beatings that me and Hiccup go through. The Furies.

It's been about three hours since we started the search, and we have nothing to show of it except a map full of x's showing all the places the beasts weren't. We were sore all over, but our upper and lower backs were the sorest. Me and my brother have no idea why they were so sore, and to be honest, it's worrying us.
