💎 CHAPTER XXVI 💎

VERNON POV

There is no day and night that I don't think about him . There wasn't a minute or an hour that I wasn't excited to at least see him . After losing our child, he changed a lot . But my feelings for him never changed . I know that I am the reason and should be blamed for the loss of our child . I was not the person who used to pray . But since I saw the suffering of the love of my life and heard every cry every night because I was always secretly sitting next to the door of his room, I learned to call the name of the Lord and pray for my love to help him heal Seungkwan's heart . Now I thought of trying to talk to him again and asking for a chance and forgiveness . I woke up early to prepare his breakfast . Seungkwan lost a lot of weight . The maid who brought his food to the room told me that Seungkwan hardly eats . They said they tried to ask him if there was anything else he wanted to eat but he just yelled at them and kicked them out of the room .

" Mr.Vernon do you need our help ? " I was surprised by Mrs. Park when she suddenly appeared behind me . Mrs. Park is the Housekeeper of the Choi's mansion . Mrs. Park has almost become a second mother to all of us .

" Thank you Mrs. Park but I'm done too ." I said with a smile as I arranged the fruits on the plate after cutting them .

" I think you should add more tangerine to the fruit ? Because that's his favorite ." Mrs. Park giving me advice .

" Really ? How did you know that tangerine is his favorite ? " I asked with a frown .

" Son, I'll just remind you that I'm the one who fixes everything here in the mansion, even when it comes to your food, I'm the one who takes care of it, how can I not know when you want something to eat, I'm the one you're looking for ." Mrs. Park said while holding her waist .

" Do you think Mrs. Park, he will eat these things I prepared ? " I worriedly asked Mrs. Park .

" We can't do anything, whether he eats all that or not . What he is going through is not easy son, I hope you understand . It's hard to lose a child . If you really love him, you should always be by his side in times like now.  Don't be discouraged and don't give up on him, you need patience now . This is where your love for him will be tested ." Mrs. Park advised me and I could see her sympathy for me in her eyes .

" I will do everything Mrs. Park . I will do everything so that he can forgive me . Even if it takes forever, I will not leave his side . I will fight for my love for him ." I answered her with full determination .

" Go ahead and bring the food you prepared . He just woke up ." Mrs. Park said softly and patted my back . I'm leaving with the tray .

" Vernon wait , take this with you . " Mrs. Park put a piece of white rose on the tray I was carrying .

" Thank you , Mrs.Park ." I said smiling and went to Seungkwan's room .

When I got to the front door of his room, I suddenly got nervous . I tried to knock but he still didn't open the door . I put the tray on the floor and knocked again . He still hasn't opened the door . I don't like the way I feel anymore . I feel like something is wrong, I'm even more nervous . When I twisted the doorknob it opened . I entered the room with the tray when I got inside I placed the tray on his table . I was wondering because he was no longer in his bed and his entire bed was a mess, the blanket was on the floor . In the middle of his bed were some children's clothes .

" Seungkwan ? " I called his name as I looked for him in every corner of his room . I saw his bathroom door open so I tried to peek . But I was surprised when I saw him bleeding and unconscious lying in the bathtub full of cold water that was red because of the blood from his wrist . His wrist was completely cut by a blade and his whole body was pale, probably because he had been soaking in the cold water for a long time and also because of the amount of blood he had lost .

I ran to where he was and immediately lifted him out of the water and immediately hugged him, trying to wake him up . I tap his cheek while I shout his name . His whole body was very cold .

" Vernon !!! Shit !! what happened to Seungkwan ??!! " Jun said, I didn't notice Jun and Myungho entering the bathroom .

Vernon, give him to me first, I'll just take him to Dr. Lee . You and Myungho just followed him to the clinic, he needs to be taken to see his condition, just listen to us please .

" Hhhyung .. Please ... " I couldn't stop crying and I felt like a child asking him for help .

When Jun took Seungkwan from me, I cry hysterical. It was as if he was lifeless when he was in Jun's arms, Jun Hyung immediately came out running with Seungkwan .

" What's going on ? Why did he do that ? How about me ? I can't live without him, Hyung. " I asked Myungho Hyung confused .

" Calm down Hansol . Be strong . You won't lose him . Come let's follow them ." Myungho Hyung helped me stand up, we slowly walked to the clinic, I was weak, I could hardly feel my legs .

Would it be good if I just stay away from his life ?  I can't bear to see him hurt anymore . I know that I should be by your side during these times , but as I see that I am the cause of your every suffering , I would rather stay away and hide my own feelings for you . It's for your own good, my love .
