💎 CHAPTER XXVIII 💎

" Han , it's good that you've regained your consciousness." I noticed the sadness in S.coups' voice as he helped me sit up .

" Cheol, why are we here at the hospital ? Why do you look sad ? " I asked weakly .

" Han, forgive me . I have to do this . Just remember one thing . I love you very much, and so does our future child." I couldn't help but feel the tears welling up in my eyes, caused by the inexplicable pain in what Cheol was saying. I was confused by what he was saying .

"Ch-Cheol.. what are you saying ??
Yes, I know you love me and our child and I love you too . That's why I married you, right ? " I tried to reach out to hold his hands, but he pulled his hand away and took a single step away from me.

"Han, that's enough . Please don't hurt yourself any more . Please just forget about me . I know it's hard for you to raise our child alone, but I know our child will be a better child or person if you are the only parent he has." He said, bowing his head, as if he was avoiding my gaze .

" Seungcheol, no.. please whatever you're thinking, please don't do it . We need you . Cheol, I'll be with you through all the problems . We'll get through this . Just don't leave us." I begged him as I tried to get closer to him, removing the blanket that was covering me, I almost fainted from fear when I saw so much blood spread across my bed .

" Ch-Cheol , wh-where is our chi-child ?" I had a hard time speaking because of the mixed feelings I had, but when I turned to where Cheol was standing, he was holding our child , his entire body covered of blood of our child . And all went black .

" Is he awake ?"

" Not yet , Oyabun ."

" When I get back, he should be awake ."

" Yes , Oyabun . " When I heard the footsteps of the speaker walking away, I forced my eyes open . Because of the dim light of the place where I was, I could not see the face of the man approaching me .

" Don't strain your eyes, you'll only get a headache . Don't worry tomorrow I will change the light here ." said the man who was sitting in front of me .

" I don't care . Let me out of here . It won't take long and my husband will find me too and let's just see if you don't regret all the decisions you made in your life ." Even though I was in a very difficult position, I managed to smirk because I knew that my husband would not let me stay here for a long time . They will pay for what they did to me .

" I'll leave you for now, I'll just get your food, I'm sure you're very hungry . You have not eaten for three days because you are unconscious ." I was surprised to look at him because of what he said . Three days ??  Three days have passed but Cheol still hasn't saved me . I looked at my stomach and was relieved to see my growing baby bumps . But I was worried again because I was in the delicate stage of my pregnancy .

" You have nothing to worry about, because since you arrived here at the mansion, there is a Doctor who has been monitoring your health . And your son's condition ."

" Son ? " I asked him weakly while I smiled weakly .

" Yes, son . Why ? Do you still not know what gender your child is ?" he asked in surprise as if he was interested in what I would answer . I looked at him and now I can clearly see his faces .

" It's up to you if you don't want to answer . " He was about to stand up to leave when I spoke .

" My husband and I want to know the gender of our child on the day of his birth ." I answered .

And he finally left the room where I was .

Soon the man returned with a tray full of food and fruit . When he placed the food in front of me, he went to my back and I felt that he was slowly untying my hands . After he untied my hands, he sat in front of me .

" Seriously ? You really gonna watch while I'm eating ? I asked, annoyed with him .

" Is it bad ? I just want to make sure you eat because the Doctor will be here again later . He will give you medicines and vitamins for your child and for you as well . He said you need to eat first ."
he explained .

I didn't argue anymore and I picked up the spoon to start eating .
Because all the food are really good , I eated all even the fruits .

" Your done ? " he asked me with crossed-arms while sitting in front of me .

" What do you think ? " there was cursing in the tone of my voice .

" Wohhh .. Chill .. I'm just asking . It looks like you have regained your strength because you are becoming brave ." he overreacted putting one of his hands on his chest and the other signaled me to stop .

" I don't have time to you . Where is the person who dare to abducted me ? I want to see him ." I said irritable as I rubbed my stomach .

" Don't worry you will see him too . In fact, before you wake up, he just left . He said he would come back ." he informed me .

" What does your boss want ? What does he need from me ?"

" I should not be the one to answer your questions but I can tell you only one thing . Oyabun doesn't need you . He needs your husband ." he clarified to me .

" Naturally, they all want to overthrow my husband . But I am telling you . You can't beat my husband . Because he is The King of Kings of Underworld ." I said proudly .

" I hope you are still that proud of him when you find out the reason why Oyabun needs him ." he said softly but I could still hear it clearly .

" I'll leave you for now, I'll just return this to the kitchen and then I'll send the Doctor here." He picked up the tray and was about to leave but my mouth still wanted to ask something .

" Who are you ? " I asked while looking into his eyes .
