Every since you started dating Park—heir to a large corparate buisness and multiple milloins up his ass—Jongseong, life's been different.

At first, nothing much changed, you guys met and fell in love in a very random way.

Your best friend had wanted to go to this party, but you didn't want to. But how could you say no to her? So you went and she introduced you as the "Star of our group!" which you found a little funny.

There was this one man who had caught your attention that night. Through the crowed's noise, your ears clearly heard his chuckle "The New Star of the group, huh?" Making eye contact with you, a smirk gracing his face, before vanishing into the night.

Ofcourse, you worked hard, earned many achievements in your life, but still, it's nothing to be labeled a "Star" for.

Compared to some other individuals in attendance, you were probably just a really small star and they were the Sun.

You had stayed back at the food table, drinking delicacies and sneakily slipping snacks through your lips.

Your eyes wandered around the room, from the drunkened party goers, to the hooligans on the dance floor. Eyes scanning in search for your best friend, but it seems as if she blended right in.

You stare down at your cup, hearing footsteps near you. Glancing up, you notice it's the man who smirked at you. He was stuffing his cheeks with pastries.

"Hello, what does it mean to be nicknamed 'The New Star'? It seems like quite the big deal from what I've heard around here." You walk up to him, taking a sip of your drink, as you eye him composing himself.

"As straightforward as you want to be, darling." The pet name rolls off his tongue with such ease, as he walks closer to you, lifting his hand for you to shake. "I'm Park Jay, an average guy living an awfully average life." He chuckled.

"For an average guy, you have quite the expensive laugh, liar. You're not average, now are you? Your posture says enough." You laugh, sarcasm dripping in your in your voice, yet his silence bubbles suspicion within you. Glancing at the dim chandelier your brain starts working, as you think deeper about this. "Hmm~ 'The New Star'... is a new member to your little friend group? Or a new talent? Or~ is it a new person for you rich kids to date?" You giggle, realising what this 'New Star' thing meant.

Your friend did mention that anything could happen. From what you picked up on, everyone had a date here, except for this guy. Park Jay.

"Could you join me outside...for a moment?"

The two of you had ditched the party and got to know each other. Sitting on the edge of the curb, he thought you knew he was of wealthy background when you said that—and when it turned out you were just joking— it still intrigued him. You were smarter than what your best friend told him.

An odd beginning that lead to a situationship, where no one truly knew about you and you didn't know his parents either, but their son was not the type to play around, so when he was spending his money buying gifts and giggling at his phone screen, of course everyone was eyeing him.

They thought he'd gone insane or that he's seeing someone—but those two are practically the same, because you'd have to be insane to date someone—and his parents later confronted him about this unusual behaviour, to which he replied with an equally confused look.

He didn't know what the two of you were—back then—but what he did know was how much he hated it when you talked about other men. When they made you laugh and giggle. When they literally did nothing, but spend a little time with you, he loathes the idea.

But he also works a lot, so whatever time is missed by him working and the both of your busy schedules not meshing for a coffee date or a picnic date, it'll always be a home date.

The two of you cooking together—more of him doing all the work, while you just stood there beside him handing him things— singing together while doing so.

He loves to spend time with you, wherever you are is home for him and that's when he came to terms with what love is, not an obsession or infatuation, but love. And he will gladly do anything for you, sing for you, cook for you, shower you with whatever you want—including his love—and burn for you in the harsh flames of the Sun.

Throughout his memories of past lives, he had yet to meet a soul as captivating as yours and as fate progresses, he prays that you'll never let go of each other.
