He doesn't know, he's clueless, an idiot in everyone's eyes. The younger brother, no stress of becoming the heir to a massive conglomerate.

Jaeyun's the public one, the Sim kid that the press and media love, a rich kid turned celebrity, not through his connections, all by himself, his hard work and his friends. And it all started from a little passion project with his friends, debuting a three member band named the 02z.

All three of them debuting under an alias names, he chose Shin Jake. At first, there were no concerts, just releasing a shit ton of albums.

Their first few songs weren't heard of, until their second comeback that got shot them into the public eye.

Of course, they had social pages and fans in the beginning, you being one of them. Jake always enjoyed the comments you left and evem some constructive criticism.

Which, to your suprise, he had responded very positively.

He may or may not have stalked your page and when he couldn't exactly figure out who you were, he contacted you.

This was before fame, before the three made a big hit, landing on billboard with tons of interviewers and rumours.

The two of you had agreed to meet at a local café and he came wearing his cheaper clothes. He had come half an hour early, with public transport, got lost halfway through, almost had a mental breakdown, before he called Jay, who helped him through call.

He finally made it and went to sit down at a table for two. To catch his breath.

And that's when you walk in, and holy shit all that running may have had him panting, but you stole his fucking breath.

You glance around, trying to spot this man who's face you've never seen. Your idol, actually, well not an idol, but one of your favourite singers.

He calls your name, catching your attention. Not what you were expecting, when you walked over and sat from across him. He was dressed with designer brands, but not in a flashy extravagant way, he just wore them, like it was normal cheep clothes.

"Hello~ it's a pleasure to finally meet you!" He waved his hand. "My name is Sim-" He coughs a little, glancing away, before making eye contact again. "-Shin Jake." And you introduce yourself to him.

It was a little awkward, until the both of you got up to go order. And the old lady who was at register misunderstood the two of you for a couple, causing him to become a blushing mess.
While you politely denied, but this got you thinking 'Is this a date?'.

Sitting down, the two of you got to know each other, he tried to leave all the obvious parts of his life that gave away who he was, but things went not according to plan.

The two of you ended up chatting till midnight in his mclaren. The two of you pulled up to a convenience store, ate some ramen and ice cream, which he paid for, against all your protests.

You lean back in the passenger seat, staring at him. "So, you're not just some broke singer, huh?" He laughed at your comment.

"Nope, I'm sorry I lied." He giggled, his finger softly grazing against your hand. A flirty gaze in his eyes.

You look down at your lap, sighing. His eyes perked up, worried. 'Why are you sighing all of a sudden?' Written all over his puppy face.

"There's something that's been bothering me...is this a date? I feel like I know some confidential information about you, Yunnie." He only leaned in closer, giggling all giddy.

"It is...only if you want it to be..." He winked, before blushing at the realisation of his actions.

The youngest son of the EN group. One of the most influential families in Korea.

"Have you ever dated anyone?" You ask him, feelings conflicted.

"Not really, my parents strictly told me to not get into any dating scandals." He leaned back, taking a sip of his soda.

"Yeah, it shows that you're a virgin." You remark, smirking as you take a sip of water.

"Well...why don't you help with that?" He retorted, laughing at the way you almost spat the water out of your mouth, eyes blown wide in shock.

And since that night, he calls you up every other day, gossiping about stupid shit, texting you on a daily.

And when you guys do hang out, he takes you around shopping for whatever you want. Of course rumours sparked about your relationship with him, but he denied the allegations.

His parents weren't too happy about the news, but none the less, didn't mind as long as he didn't bring dishonour and cause massive scandals.

He showered you with expensive gifts and even a new apartment, no rent nothing. He loved doting on you, he didn't know what you are to him, just someone important.

He realised he could not live without bothering you. Maybe he's clingy, but you didn't mind too much.

Though, the public may not know, but you guys are very much in love. As if it was fated to be.
