That boy you went to the same highschool with, shared snacks with during lunch and forgot about during your time at college, but here you two are happily married...

Well, not entirely.

During your shared highschool days, he'd playfully fight you for snacks, tease you for being dumb, but still helps you study and the two of you even cheated tigether on tests, helping each other out.

Always having each others back, regardless of what trouble the other got into. which was rare. The two of you weren't known for being trouble makers. Infact you and Jungwon were known to be good kids, smartest of the class, never seen without the other. Whether that be for competitions, sick days and even breaks in between classes.

That was until graduation.

After that, he left the country and went to study at Cambridge. Busy with his new life, he barely had time for you. So, you gave up on contacting him entirely, focusing on your new friends in college having a blast.

What you did not know, was how big of a crush he had on you trough highschool. It's not the situation that you didn't know and others did and Jungwon made it so obvious, but you rejected him, no not at all.

In fact, it was the opposite.

Back in highschool you confessed your love for him and he politely rejected you, not being able to figure out his feelings for you in time, until it was too late and you had already gooten over him and had been gushing to him about this new guy you like.

So, he threw his feelings into the back of his mind, tried forgetting all about the fact that he liked you so he could be the supportive bestfriend you deserve.

On the day you confessed to your crush, you did not know this, but Jay knew about Won's feelings and that's why you got rejected.

Jay was being a good bestie for Jungwon. And who did you first run to in your heartbroken state? To him. Jungwon. Your bestfriend and the reason your crush rejected you.

He still feels guilty about it, even though you know the story and told him that Jay was a sort of rebound that you fell for, but in the end it all worked out.

Now, in college it was only at your graduation did you lock eyes with a certain someone, holding a bouquet of flowers, sitting with your family in the crowd of families who had arrived to applaud their children.
