Manik and Nandini walked towards the Emergency Department, having just checked on their patient. Nandini was assigned to assist Manik for the day, courtesy of Yash's request. As they waited for the patient's husband to arrive, Manik's gaze drifted towards a particular direction.

"So, that's the young man who fell from the overpass," Manik said, his voice laced with a mix of curiosity and concern.

Nandini followed his gaze, her eyes locking onto the boy sitting in the corner, his arm casted and a look of despair etched on his face.

As Dr. Yash delivered the news to Arun, the teenager who had attempted to take his own life, I couldn't help but notice the mix of emotions on the young boy's face. "Hey Arun, we've got your scan results back, and the good news is that it's just a simple fracture. Your parents are on their way," Dr. Yash said, his tone gentle yet reassuring.

Dr. Yash's eyes locked onto Arun's, searching for any sign of acknowledgment. "May I examine your eyes?" he asked, his hands moving deftly to assess Arun's condition.

Arun's gaze dropped, avoiding eye contact. "How did you end up going over the edge of the overpass?" Dr. Yash probed, his voice soft but inquiring.

The silence that followed was palpable. Arun's shoulders sagged, and his voice barely rose above a whisper. "The railing was kinda low, I guess."

Dr. Yash pressed on, seeking clarity. "Were you fooling around with friends? Did you lose your balance?"

Arun's eyes clouded, and he winced, his head throbbing. "Can we do this later? My head really hurts."

Dr. Yash nodded sympathetically. "Of course, we can continue this conversation later. I want to ensure you're okay and that something like this doesn't happen again. I'll have another doctor come in and see you soon, okay?"

As Dr. Yash emerged from the treatment cabin, he was met with the inquiring gazes of Dr. Manik and Dr. Nandini. "What's he saying, Dr. Yash? Is he acknowledging the attempt?" Dr. Manik asked.

Dr. Yash's expression turned somber. "He's not cooperating, Manik. He's not admitting to anything."

Dr. Nandini's brow furrowed. "What about his parents? Have they arrived?"

Dr. Yash's expression remained grim. "Not yet, and it seems like a complicated situation."

Just then, the nurse interrupted, "Dr. Manik, the husband of your patient is here."

Dr. Manik nodded. "Alright, we'll go see him now."

As they walked toward the ICU area, Dr. Manik introduced himself and Dr. Nandini to the husband. "Hello, sir. We're your wife's doctors. I'm Dr. Manik, and this is Dr. Nandini."
