It was a sunny day, all of the smiling critters were having a picnic on a field where they were block from the sunlight of the sun by a tree, they were eating there favorite food, while one critter, Catnap, was sleeping on a branch of the tree while his tail swayed back and forth, slowly.

While the others were listening to Bubba Bubbaphant about psychology while eating and while listening to him, the canine, Dogday, look up from his sandwich to his best friend, who was peacefully sleeping on the branch, a smile slowly creep out on his face while he munched down on his food,

As the canine continue to eat his sandwich, he couldn't help but look up to his best friend again, who was still sleeping peacefully on the branch, it was kinda amuse to the canine, since the feline was totally the opposite of him, he would actually be awake at night, while watching the canine and the others, sleeping, after releasing his red gas to make them fall asleep and dream the dreams that feline the crafted for them.

The canine thoughts were interrupted by a rain drop that fell onto his nose as he looks up, seeing the clear sky slowly started to cover with rain clouds,

"Looks like it's going to rain.." Bobby Bearhug look up to the sky as she spoke,

"Maybe we should get going before we all get wet here," Kickin Chicken suggested, the others agreed but feeling a bit disappointed that their picnic was cancelled,

While they were gathering everything, the canine looked up to the feline who was still sleeping peacefully, unaware of his surroundings,

The canine chuckled softly before walking under the branch and reached out and giving a gently tugged on the feline tail, trying to wake him up,

The feline stirred in his sleep before slowly opening his eyes before looking down to see his best friend who was tugging his tail, the canine smiled at the feline,

"Hey Catnap! I think we should going because it's going to rain soon." The canine slowly retracted his hand from the feline tail as he spoke,

The feline looked at him before looking up at the sky, seeing it was slightly covered with rain clouds that any moment it could rain now,

A sigh escape from the feline as he stretch himself before slowly climbing down the tree where he stood beside the canine who smiled while his tail started to wag happily,

"C'mon buddy," The canine reached out and interlock hands with the feline who flinched by the sudden action that made the canine laugh a bit.

Few minutes later, every critter went to their separate ways while the canine lead the feline to his home,

"I'm sorry that our picnic was cancelled, Catnap. But I'm sure tomorrow will have our picnic even better!" The canine said while his tail continue to wag,

"Well, I better get home, buddy. It's getting kinda late and I don't want to get myself get wet by the rai—" Suddenly, the rain immediately pour down that made the canine stopped from his sentence,

The canine frowned at the sight while his ears and tail droop down in place, suddenly, a chuckled can be heard behind the canine as he turned around to see the feline chuckled softly before opening the door for him.

"Can't get my best friend get all wet in the rain can I?" The feline joke as his tail swayed back and forth behind him while the canine smiled as his tail started to wag once again that made the feline smiled,

"You can stay here for the night at my place," The feline suggested while looking at the canine with the same smile on his face while the canine looked at him, hesitated about his idea,

"Are you sure? I think I can walk back hom—" "Ofcourse I'm sure, I can't just leave my best friend all alone in the rain getting soak to the bone and catching a cold." The feline interrupted the canine,

The canine looked at him who gave him a small nod before stepping aside to let him in, opening the door for him,

"If you insist!" The canine chuckled before smiling as he made his way inside while the feline slowly followed before closing the door behind him.
