3rd Person's P.O.V

Izzy's heart raced with excitement as she stood before her bedroom mirror, checking her reflection one last time. The late afternoon sunlight filtered through the sheer curtains, casting a golden hue over the room and igniting a warm glow in her eyes. She had picked out her favorite outfit for the occasion—a soft, flowy sundress that danced around her knees, perfect for the summer heat. The anticipation had been building for days, and now, as she prepared for the double date with her two mates, Emmett and Jasper, the excitement was almost too much to contain.

"I can't believe we're finally doing this!" Izzy exclaimed, her voice brimming with enthusiasm as she twirled around, the hem of her dress swirling in the air. Her grin was infectious, brightening the room even further. "I've been looking forward to seeing those goats for days!"

From the doorway, Emmett chuckled, the sound deep and rich. He leaned against the frame, adjusting the brim of his well-worn baseball cap, his broad shoulders barely fitting within the confines of the door. "You and those goats, Izzy. I swear, you get more excited about them than you do about me." His eyes twinkled with mischief as he teased her, but there was a softness in his gaze, one that spoke of the deep affection he held for her.

Jasper, who had been lounging casually on the bed, propped himself up on one elbow, his lips curving into a smirk. "Well, you don't have cute little horns, Em," he quipped, his Southern drawl adding a playful edge to his words.

"Or a beard," Izzy added with a laugh, turning to face Emmett with a wink. "But don't worry, you're still my favorite." She reached up to gently tug at his chin, her fingers brushing against the stubble just enough to be endearing.

Emmett grinned down at her, wrapping his arm around her waist and pulling her close. "Glad to hear it," he murmured, pressing a kiss to the top of her head. His presence was a comforting weight beside her, grounding her in the moment as her excitement threatened to bubble over.

The three of them had been planning this special outing for what felt like ages, their busy lives making these moments of togetherness all the more precious. The fair in Seattle promised a day of carefree fun—exhibitions of animals, thrilling rides, and even a petting zoo. It was the perfect way to spend a day with the two people she cherished most.

As they piled into Emmett's truck, the warm summer breeze tousled Izzy's hair, carrying with it the scents of blooming flowers and distant pine trees. The drive to the fair was filled with lively chatter, their voices mingling with the hum of the engine as they discussed what awaited them.

"I really hope they have those tiny pygmy goats," Izzy mused, her eyes sparkling with anticipation. "And maybe some baby chicks too. What about you guys?"

Emmett, ever the food enthusiast, rubbed his hands together in gleeful anticipation. "I'm here for the food, honestly," he admitted, his grin widening at the thought of all the fair treats that awaited him. "Corn dogs, cotton candy, funnel cakes... It's going to be amazing."

Jasper shook his head with a smile, his blond hair catching the sunlight as he glanced over at Emmett. "And I'm just here to keep you both out of trouble," he said, though the affection in his voice betrayed his true feelings.

As they arrived at the fairgrounds, a sense of wonder washed over them. The place was alive with energy—the sounds of laughter, the playful screams from the rides, and the distant strains of music blending together in a symphony of joy. Vibrant banners fluttered in the breeze, and the air was thick with the mingling scents of fried food and freshly spun sugar.

Izzy's heart soared as they made their way to the petting zoo. The sight of the animals brought a childlike glee to her expression, her eyes wide with delight. She crouched down near the fence as a small, curious goat approached, its tiny hooves clattering softly on the dirt. "Look at this one!" she squealed, holding out her hand as the goat nudged it, its nose cold against her palm. "He's so adorable!"
