Izzy's P.O.V
The last thing I remember was Emmett tossing my blanket over our bodies. It suddenly felt heavy against my body, the heat spreading. We'd cuddled up on my couch after talking. It was a long day, and he wanted me to be asleep because we had school in the morning. Hmm, that's right. I'm asleep.
I open my eyes suddenly to find myself lying on a round pillow-filled bed. I was no longer in my home with Emmett, and now that I think about it, I am no longer in Forks. Where I was felt different, there was a sort of glow in the atmosphere. I look around my surroundings, I was in a white room, which was nearly empty besides a small night stand next to the bed. A clear champagne glass filled with a bright, glowing substance was sitting on it. I reach for the glass, and the light disappears, "Hello?" I yell out, making my way out of the room.
I walk out of the room and down a long white hall, following it to a weird opening. There was no door or window, just open space glowing brightly, if I may add. I almost have to cover my eyes while reaching it. This was a strange dream; I can't say I've had one quite like this.
"That's because you are not dreaming, child." I instantly recognized the voice as the one that talked to me earlier when I shut Alice up. You are in Igenem (Ig-knee-m), a place Mother created for us when it was time to come of our true power and follow our destiny," my inner Goddess said to me as I finally took in the environment around me. The sight I saw was recognizably Mother Gaia's best work.
I stepped out into the flowery fields; there were all kinds of exotic plants and flowers of all colors that you could imagine. Roses lined a baby tree in the middle of the field, and daisies next to a warm spring hole with a fountain of water pouring into it. Hibiscus, Lavender, and Calendula all grew beside each other in circles all across the lands. I was in awe; it was so breathtaking.
"I am not just your inner Goddess, by the way, little one." I turned my body to see where the voice was coming from. I see this radiant woman standing before me. She had caramel skin that shone in the light and long platinum blonde wavy hair flowing gracefully down her back. She took my breath away even more with her clothing and wings! She had two sets of white feathery wings, the pair above more significant than the other, gold chains bedazzling them. Her dress draped down her long legs; her ankles were covered with golden chains. The flowers grew where she stepped, and words could not fully capture her beauty.
"I am you, remember?" I nodded, remembering her explanation a bit from earlier. I was still in shock, though, very speechless at the information. She took advantage of my silence and began to explain everything. "I am going to give you all of your memory back. You will know all of our past and what is to be our future. You will also know the lengths of our power and the depths of our nature."
We walked over to a bench swing. She motioned for me to sit. I did, and she sat next to me as she started to speak again. "Though you will gain all of your memory, you will not have all your powers just yet, nor will you fully ascend into me. Once you gain your memories, you will know when that will come. Do you understand, child?"
"Yes, I understand."
"Good. I shall explain more of Igenem first. As I said, Mother created this for us, not only you and me but also Sidar."
"Sidar? He still goes by that now?"
"Mm, indeed, he is enjoying himself amongst the humans and supernaturals. It seems he has turned into a vampire, interesting. I wonder how long he will enjoy that form. You guys will reunite soon enough, but I must finish explaining."
"Yes, sorry to interrupt." I watch her shake her head at my statement and grab my hand. "Nonsense, anyway. She created it so that you guys may have a palace away from Earth for your divine training. Both of you guys suffered a terrible death and did not get to fulfill your destiny. You did not get to rule as Mother Nature and Sidar were not by your side."
"Was I supposed to rule like Mother Nature? But that is Gaia's duty, no? How could I match her?" I seriously doubted my mother's intentions for a moment.
"Again, nonsense! Mother knows best; you are here! We are her daughter, part of her! We don't have to match her, silly; we must be ourselves." She squeezed my hand as the words came out. "She wants you to care for her kingdom, make it your own. Your brother is here to be your backbone and protect you while you and your mates bring a new generation. You guys, including your mates, can build upon your powers and where you will eventually bear your children."
My heart swelled at the thought of my mates and I conceiving. Her smile matched my thoughts. "You will be able to build upon your powers on Earth as well, but here—" she waved around—are fruit and herbs enhanced by Mother's power. You can all consume them to aid in your expansion." I was very thankful to my mother for all of this. I hope she knows that.
"She does; she can't wait to see what will become of us. Now-" I felt the familiar squeeze of my hands again, "drink this." She touched the empty cup that miraculously appeared in my other hand and was glowing again. I looked at the substance a little funny before bringing it up to my mouth and drinking it all in one go. It tasted like sunshine. She chuckled at me. I felt warmth throughout my body, like with my mates. It flowed slowly from my stomach to everywhere else. My body began to tingle as changes happened. My mind raced, images and clips of my past and future flying by, all the knowledge she said I'd gain suddenly entering me.
My head pounded for a split second, and then it stopped. I felt my hair grow, the blonde becoming more highlighted, and inches upon inches making its way down my back. I laughed as it tickled my spine, falling between my dress. I felt my skin begin to glow as well, the color darkening and evening out. I was no longer pale, ha. I took a second to adjust to the new feeling and knowledge. I would have to inform my mates of all of this.
"Yes, and they will support you throughout the journey. You all will thrive from this." I informed myself happily, "I should let you get some actual rest now, though. The changes weren't major, but you will be tired and grumpy in the morning if you don't sleep. Before you ascend, call into yourself if you ever need me, and I will hear. You and your mates can also come here anytime, oh wait- that's what I forgot! Your mates can sleep now; once you complete the bond, they'll be able to dream or come here, think 'Igenem'".
I nodded and hugged myself, "thank you so much."
"Oh, don't thank me; be me," I smiled again before I felt myself pulling away. Everything before me faded away as I finally succumbed to the darkness of sleep.
