I Like Him A Lot

The Mall

The weekend rolls around, and me, Alex, Joe, and Donny all go to the mall. I was the last to arrive since my sister Ava had a dance recital. I was about 30 minutes late to the mall. " For a minute, I thought you weren't going to show up." Said Alex when I finally arrived at the food court our agreed meeting spot. " Sorry, guys." I said. "It's cool." Said Donny. (Donny's full name is Donald, and he is the largest out of all my friends he is Mexican and has fluffy black hair, brown eyes, and tan skin.) Joe gave me as fist bump as I sat down next to Alex. (Joe's full name is Joseph  he is skinny and white with ash curly brown hair and pale skin.) "Well, who wants to go to the arcade?" Asked Alex. We all raised our hands, and we were on our way. We made it to the arcade, and I went to the counter to exchange my dollar bills for quarters. Alex came with me even though he had a lot of quarters, which I thought was sweet of him. Donny and Joe were off playing a shark game as I got my quarters. "How about we play a game of air hockey." Said Alex pulling my sleeve (like a child asking its mother for candy). Alex was a couple inches taller than I was, so it looked funny when her did it. He smiled. " Okay, let's go." I said, giving in. We played a few rounds of air hockey before we played a weird arrow dancing game.(I have no idea what it's called) After a while we all decided we were hungry so we went to the food court and got some pizza.  "So how are you adjusting to the new school?"Asked Joe once we finished eating. " I'm adjusting easier than I thought I would."I said beaming. We all stayed quiet for a few seconds. " So Luke, what's your favorite color?" Asked Alex randomly. " I like purple, oh, but blue is cool too. Blue and purple are both my favorite colors." I said, unable to choose. "Cool." Said Alex, who looked distracted. We walked around and window shopped for a few hours before we all said goodbye and left.
