I Like Him A Lot

A few months passed, and it's almost Christmas me, Joe, Donny, and Alex have hung out a lot since the time at the mall, and my crush on Alex just keeps getting bigger. Because of the painting he gave me, I really want to get him a nice Christmas gift, but I don't know what to get him.

~ALEX'S POV~

I have been friends with Luke for about three months now, and ever since the day we hugged after I gave him that painting of the beach, I felt something I had never felt for a guy before. I decided to invite Joe and Donny to my house to tell them about it. After we hang out for about 20 minutes, i finally decide its time, and i sit them down on my living room couch, and i stand in front of them." Guys, there is something I need to tell you." I said, sounding unusually serious.
" Yeah, what is it?" Askd Joe. Donny just gave me a worried look. I swallowed hard before I spoke. "Guys, this is serious. I don't want any laughing, do you understand?" I asked. " Dude, you are scaring us. Just spit it out dammit we won't laugh." Said Donny. "First of all, I want to say that I really love you guys. You have been my best friends since the very beginning, and I can always count on you two." I said, still unsure of how to begin this. " Oh no, are you moving or something?" Asked Joe. " No, I'm not I. Um, I think I may have a crush on someone." I said. "Dude, is it that girl that used to sit with us at lunch like at the beginning of the year, Luke's sister?" Asked Donny. " Not exactly." I said, playing with my fingers. "Donny, just let him talk." said Joe, nudging Donny to stop asking questions. "I like Luke." I blurt out. I notice Joe and Donny go silent and look at each other like they are silently communicating. They both stood up, and I thought they were going to tag team beat me up, but they just hugged me. I tear up as I feel their arms around me. " Dude, did you think this would have changed our friendship or something?" Asked Joe as we pulled away from the hug. " I don't know, kind of." I said quietly. " Alex, you are our best friend. We are here for you no matter what you always have us to lean on. Do you understand me?"said Donny. At this point, I was full on sobbing as they pulled me in for another hug. "I love you guys." I say. "We love you too." They both say at the same time."So you have a crush on Luke?" Says Joe. I nod." I like him a lot." Donny looks at me struggling to say something he really wanted to say. "So, are you gay?" He finally asks me. I stayed quiet for a little bit because I had no idea, to be honest, I didn't give myself a label yet. "I think I'm bi because I like girls too." I said. They nod at me. We all sit and stare at each other, then decide to play roblox. I am so grateful for my amazing best buds.
