~Back to Luke's POV~

It was 10:30 on a Friday night, and I was busy watching a show on my phone when I got a call from Alex. I picked it up right away, curious about what he was going to say. "Hey, Alex." I said. There was no reply, just heavy breathing. "Alex, are you okay?" I asked concerned. There was more heavy breathing before he replied. " I just need someone to talk to right now." He said in a shaky voice that scared me. " Hey, did something happen? Are you okay?" I asked concerned. "No, I-I just got kicked out of my house Luke my parents just threw me out." He said. My heart started racing. " Where are you? Do you want to stay at my house for the night?" I asked him. " No, I don't want to be a  burden. I just I just..." He trailed off. "Alex, I can ask my dad if you can spend the night." I said. " No, no I'm fine." He said. " Where are you please tell me you don't plan to sleep on the streets." I said" Don't worry about me. I'm fine." He said. " Alex please just come over for the night I don't want you to sleep outside." I said seriously." I'm at a park right now I don't know for sure the address." He said. " Okay is there a house near the park that you can said me the adress of ? I'll tell me dad to go pick you up." I said. " I shouldn't have called you I just got you stuck in my shit." He said angrily. " Alex you are my friend and I want to make sure you are okay please just send me the address. " I said. He reluctantly agreed and me and my dad went and picked him up. " Dad he's right there on that bench." I said, pointing to a bench at the small park. Alex noticed us and walked to the truck. I got out and let him take the front seat next to my dad and sat in the back next to Ava and Emily. " Alex, what happened." I asked. His head was down, and he covered his face with his hands. I decided to just leave him alone until we got back to the house. We arrived back home, and I led Alex up to my room. " Alex, can you please tell me why you got kicked out?" I asked him as he sat on the floor in front of my bed. I had tucked my oragami out of sight so he wouldn't see the present I was making him. He was still holding his face with his hands. I moved his hands away from his face and saw a red slap mark. " Who did that to you?" I asked. " It doesn't matter." He said shrugishly. "Alex, you need to tell me what happened." I said

~ALEX'S POV~

I sat on Luke's bedroom floor, scared as he kept questioning me to tell him what happened. Eventually, I gave in. "I told my parents I was bi, and they kicked me out." I said, shaking and avoiding eye contact. I didn't want him to worry about me. I didn't want to be bothering him right now by being in his house. I finally looked up at Luke and saw sympathy in his eyes. " I am so sorry they did that to you Alex you don't deserve that." He said, patting me on the shoulder. He git up and sat next to me on the floor. " I'm sorry for ruining your night." I said. " You didn't do anything wrong. I'm just glad you are okay. " He said, giving me a faint smile. " I don't know what I am going to do. I can't stay here with you forever, and my parents hate me." I said, beginning to cry. Luke hugged me, and I cried on his shoulder. He rubbed my back, and it made me feel a lot better. "We will figure it out together." He said in my ear as I continued to cry. Luke pulled out a air mattress from his attic into his room for me to sleep in since they didn't have a guest bedroom. It thought it was really nice of him and it made my crush on him grow. "We should get some rest Alex." He said. " Yeah we should." I agreed. I gave him a hug before I lied down and fell asleep. I was really lucky to have a friend like Luke.
