Miss pov-

Over the next few days i got quite close with Marjorie and Reece. there were always checking up on me asking if i needed anything making sure i ate. they were amazing. i couldn't be more grateful for them. they told me about their plan on taking the nursery's from Rodger which of course i agreed to. Everything in my life was finally getting better. i walked into work that morning and Reece turned to me. "Hey Mia, do you mind going over to Marjorie's Nursery for the day they are short staffed" normally i would have said no but now that me and Marjorie are friends i didn't mind. "yeah sure ill head over now." once i arrived i walked into her office. "hi Marjorie, Reece said you were short staffed. where do you need me?" she turned from her desk and looked at me. "hello my love you'll be in the baby room with charlotte today" i smiled at her before walking out. i headed to the baby room and realised i would have to spend the day with Charlotte. we haven't really spoke since she tried to get me fired. but i didn't hold it against her. i walk in a see her doing handover with a parent. as the parent leaves i walk over to her. "hey Charlotte i'm covering in here with you today." she turned to look at me. "okay. by the way i am really sorry about the accident form." i giggle a little at how worried she looked. "sweetheart it's fine I'm over it" just then another parent walks in the room and i go to handover. the morning went by pretty fast and everything was going great. Apart from the parents who always seem to have something to complain about but what's knew? i was on my lunch break so i went to the staff room and sat down. i was just about to start eating when i get a text from my aunt. we don't really speak i never see her to be honest so i was worried when she texted me. "Mia, it's ur mum she's in hospital. you need to get here" i immediately threw my lunch in the bin and rushed to Marjorie's office. i knew she would let me go but when i walked in Marjorie was no where to be seen only Autumn sat at her desk. i haven't spoken to Autumn since i became friends with Marjorie and Reece. Autumn is not one who forgives easily and i can understand that, i mean i did ruin her relationship with her brother. if i was her i wouldn't forgive me either. "Hi Autumn, Where's Marjorie?" she doesn't even look at me she just stares at her computer at says "she went to Reece's nursery for her lunch" shit what was i going to do now. "was there something you needed?" now she was looking at me. "um yeah i need to go home" she raises her eyebrow at me "why you don't look sick" i really didn't want to tell her id much rather talk to Marjorie but what choice did i have? "my mums in the hospital i don't know what wrong i need to see her" i can see Autumn's eyes soften before saying "That's fine go" i didn't even think to thank her i just ran to my locker to get my bag once i get out to my car i start looking around in my bag but i can't find my keys anywhere. that's when i look through my car window and see i locked my keys in my car. are you kidding me? this day could not get any worse. just then i hear a voice behind me "Mia are you alright?" i turn around to see Charlotte standing there. "yeah I'm fine i just locked my keys in my car" i try to hind how stressed i am by trying to laugh it off. "where are you going? i can give you a life" i have never been more thankful for someone in my life. "thank you char I'm going to the hospital" we get into her car and she says "if you don't mind me asking why are you going to the hospital?" normally i wouldn't tell anyone about this but i feel like i can trust Charlotte. "My mums there, i don't know what's wrong my aunt just said i needed to get there" i explain. she takes my hand in hers. "Oh mia im so sorry im sure she'll be fine" i hope she's right.
