After the nightmare (they phrase it) which happened to distress both of them, Ven came to pick her up from the hospital as she was eager to be discharged and Ember or Emerald couldn't make it.

Ven's car stops on the bus stop which Adria was currently standing in front of, too stubborn to let anyone give her a ride. Even after she noticed that it was her ride home, she acted unphased.

''Hey!! You coming?" Ven yelled rolling his window down. But Adria just shooed him in dismissal. Ven got out of his car and carried her in bridal style like it was a natural thing to do.

"Hey!!!! What the fuck are you doing?!!! Let me down!!!!! I can take the bus!!!!'' Adria said with a pinned death glare.

Ven just shoved her into passenger seat and seated on the driver's seat, not bothering to or give it her.

"Hey!!! I AM TALKING TO YOU!!!!" She gritted out of her tightly clenched teeth. She was livid.
Boiling with frustration, she tried to open the door rapidly but couldn't. She was truck. After realising that she turned towards Ven who was currently turning on the music, with that same inferno radiating through her face. He turned the music was so high along with her headache so she smashed the radio so heard that it shattered into pieces and turned to the window beside her calmly, satisfied that her point was proven. Ven just looked back and forth between the supernatural human and the poor radio and then decided it was a smart idea to keep his mouth shut and just a drive to her house.

The whole ride was filled with awkward silence, though Ven was not a silent kind of guy, he was scared for his life and his car so he remained silent like a puppy. It didn't take long to reach her mansion and when he parked, Adria didn't move. A chill went down his spine, his jaw hardened and his heartbeat quickened.
It was random.

Ven hastily checked Adria's pulses and when he was sure it was normal he let out the breath that he didn't know he was holding. His head was cleared from the fog of worry as his own heartbeat went to normal.
'She is just sleeping!' He reassured himself.
But why did he do that. Why did he need reassurance? He wanted her killed, right? After she is dead he can easily snatch her powers. So why can't he kill her and why is he making up excuses of not being able to seal her powers to his master (aka dad)?
Why doesn't he want to kill her?

He slowly unbuckles his seatbelts and gets out of the car as quietly as possible trying now to wake her up.  He walks around the car to carry her in bridal style. When he reaches the door, he realises that he doesn't have the key to unlock the door of her mansion.

He looks at her for a second or two studying the calm and delicate features on her normally rigid face. He can't help but the think that she looks like a innocent puppy in her sleep. Who in their right mind would want to wake a peaceful sleeper like her? Surely, Ven wouldn't.

He looked around in search of the key while feeling like an Intruder. But he had done worse things than breaking into someone's house to lay them on the bed while they sleep like a bear. A cute bear. Ven finally found it under the door mat but struggled to pick it up and unlock the door with it.

After all the wrestle with the doorknob he finally managed to wear on her very comfortable and luxurious looking bed.

He stared at her relaxed face. Somehow, it brought him at ease too. He knew she was beautiful but watching her like this, made him think she was more than beautiful. Which is silly because there wasn't any word in the English vocabulary other than 'Beautiful' to praise high of someone. But that's how he felt, like her beauty can't be described. She looked like nothing he had seen before. Like a view of a cascade in the forest full of fresh greens and vivid flowers, like that period of dawn where the sky becomes a palette of various colours or like the magical wonders of heaven standing on the white clouds with all the Afterlife fairies. No, even better than that. Her skin looked softer than a feather at that moment. He couldn't tear his gaze from her nor could he resist the urge to touch her. Giving in, he touched her face making it scowl lightly in unease. Involuntarily, his thumb started caressing on her cheeks to smooth out the frown.
He was in a trance and he didn't want to get out of it.
