It was evening time and aadhriti was getting ready for the ganesh pooja going to be held today in nearby temple. As in Hindu culture the first invitation for the wedding is given to Lord Ganesha to seek his blessings. And also considered as the symbol of prosperity and love for the new couple.

The door knob of the bathroom twisted revealing a smiling aadhriti in a bathrobe and a small towel wrapped around her hairs. She was glowing differently today as it was the beginning of her wedding functions.
She was smiling non-stop. She came infront of her dressing mirror and a soft chuckle left her mouth. Well, she was thinking how they used to fought like cat and mouse and now they were going to marry. The recall of a particular incident from their school time was making her smile continously.

Flashback :

After a few days of admission after the departure of school aadhriti was moving out of the building. She was lazily walking towards the main gate as the day was so boring for her because nitya was absent. And she was not able to blend in with any other classmate. She crossed the main gate and the captivating smell of colours mixed with the aroma of soil hit her nostrils. It was the time of Holi as she joined in March and the festival of colours was around the corner and the aroma of soil present in the atmosphere also crawled her nostrils because of the bay weather rain yesterday.
She looked around and found the driver was not arrived yet. So she decided to walk to her home as it was merely twenty minutes walk from her new school and this was one of the reasons her parents changed her school.

Keyword : one of the several reasons

She was walking to the side of road avoiding the water puddles in the raw soil present on the bank of the road.

When she crossed the area of her school building when suddenly someone poured a bottle full of water on her head from behind.

"Tu toh gaya beta", aadhriti hit her one leg on the ground, fisted her hands in frustration and turned around to see ishan present there.

(You are gone).

"Tumne meri shirt per ink daali aur maine tumhare upar paani, hisaab barabar, equal-equal you know.!!', ishan said widely grinning.

(You put ink on my shirt and I put water on you, it's equal, equal-equal you know.!!)

But his grin didn't last long as aadhriti couldn't stand his mischief, her anger over powered her sense of generosity and she pushed him into one of the water puddles.
Ishan became wet the by the dirty water in the puddle, he tried to stand but the mud stuck more to his hands and he fall again with a splash hitting his rear part in the puddle again.
Because of the powerful water splash caused by ishan's muscular body some of the water droplets landed on aadhriti's clothes and face.
