Bishop looked over the New York skyline.
Like everyone else, they decided to stay in New York City for a little bit. Get themselves settled back into the normal routine and ask all the questions they needed to.
The reason Dom worked with Cipher was because of his son. It turned out that Elena Neves was pregnant when Letty came back – she might not have known at the time or maybe she did, they'd never know. But she had a son that Dom didn't know about until Cipher approached him in Havana on his extended honeymoon with Letty. He wasn't allowed to tell anyone about what Cipher had on him, so when the team showed themselves to him, he had to do everything to stop them.
It was hard, according to Dom. He didn't want to do the things he did to his team, they were family after all.
He enlisted the help of Deckard Shaw's mother, who got Deckard out of there, pretending he was dead for the sake of Cipher putting her guard down. It was a shock to hear that Shaw was alive and the one who rescued Dom's son out of Cipher's clutches.
Even though Cipher got away, Bishop knew they'd see her again. Somebody like that didn't give up that easily. She was folded three times by Dom and his team, she'd come back for revenge. And the team would be ready for her this time.
Bishop knew she would be ready for her the next time she showed her face. She would be keeping a close eye on the web and the first sign of Cipher; Bishop would inform the Agency. After everything Cipher has done, it's the least Bishop could do.
Bishop drank some beer. Everyone was waiting for Mr. Nobody, Little Nobody, and Benjamin to arrive to have a family dinner. And most importantly, they were waiting on Deckard Shaw to bring Dom's son. Bishop knew that moment that Han found out that Dom had a son, he wasn't going to say he was jealous that Bishop got to meet the kid, but he'd be bummed he can't meet him yet.
Bishop hoped that one day Han could meet Dom's son. And the expansion to the family.
"Thinkin' about Han?" Tej asked, startling Bishop.
She had to catch herself before she outed Han. "You know, Han would be stoked to hear that Dom's got a kid. I know that Han always wanted kids, right?" Bishop said, drinking some more beer before she said too much.
Tej nodded. "Yeah, I'm pretty sure he and Brooklyn were headed down that road. I know Rome teased Han about popping the question." Bishop glanced down at her hand – maybe her and Han should make it official-official before Ren went to school. Even though Bishop didn't want any kind of engagement ring, but a wedding band would be nice.
"Oh really?" Han didn't tell Bishop that. "He told me about Brooklyn, it was really hard for him." Bishop said.
Tej nodded slowly. "We told 'im if he ever needed anythin', we were just one phone call away." Tej felt like Han was hiding something from them while he was in Tokyo, and Bishop didn't know about it either.
