Bishop was thankful that Letty wasn't familiar with Japanese. "No, it's a girls' night." Bishop said. "Two of my friends are in town for the weekend. My husband's watching them." Bishop smiled.
Akiko smiled. "Oh, it's good to see you are spending time with some friends, dear. Do enjoy your meal."
"Thank you." Bishop took the bowl from Akiko as Letty held onto hers and Mia's bowls. Bishop grabbed three things of chopsticks from the cup. "Have a great evening, Akiko."
"How do you know her?"
"I come down this way weekly after work. I've made friends nearly everyone here." Bishop shrugged as she set the bowl down at the spot she picked. She made sure to pick that table so they could see the apartment from there. Bishop looked at the apartment, noticing the Mexican flag in the window – how she never noticed that before, she didn't know. Maybe Han just put it up becasuse she never remembered it being there before.
"Well, this place is a dead end." Letty commented.
"Do you think Jakob could be onto the Han connection?" Mia asked.
Bishop sure hoped not, she didn't want to think about Jakob knowing that Han was alive, and Elle was the key. But she knew better than to believe that. He had Cipher on his side. Cipher was fully looking for Project Aries, she most likely knew the location of every piece.
Letty sighed before speaking, "If he has all the information we do, probably."
Bishop broke apart the chopsticks, beginning to eat her dinner with Letty and Mia. She tuned them out, not really wanting to be part of the conversation. Bishop wasn't interested in the backstory of Jakob or anything like that. She wanted to make sure that her family was safe. As Bishop ate, her phone rang, interrupting the conversation. She looked at the caller ID. "Sorry, it's Usagi, I gotta take this." Bishop got up from the table, walking a little bit away from Letty and Mia. "Hey Usagi, what's up?"
"There are men following you." Bishop kept her composure. "3 o'clock." Bishop tucked her hair behind her ear, casually looking in the direction Han told her to look. She noticed a couple of men who looked out of place in that specific alleyway. Bishop looked forward, stepping towards one of the vending machines, as if she was looking for a snack after her ramen.
"You know I'm on vacation, right?" Bishop asked, pretending to have a conversation with Usagi.
"I've been following you since you mentioned you were taking Mia and Letty to the garage. They've been following you since you got to Tokyo." Bishop nodded.
