Chapter 12

After me and Jaden got back to the table everyone was shouting and throwing beer in the air.
"Guys you are missing out of the fun of adult night, you can't just leave" Dixie handed me a beer
"Why are you guys so distant did parenting make you tired huh?"
Addison giggled while Bryce had his arm around her
"Guys I'm here.. oh hey"
Nessa entered the room a little later from everyone else because her and Josh are in the middle of filing a divorce that they kept secret for a couple of weeks but now it's getting official to the they are living in different houses so it's difficult for them to be in the same room let alone be in the same group setting.
"Nessa I have a seat for you"
I shouted getting Nessa attention to come sit next to me
"hey mamas"
Nessa hugged me before sitting next to me
"you are looking flawless like always"
"Yo get this girl some drinks"
after the minute I shouted the waiter came to the table with a drink
"Let's get wasted tonight I really need it."
Nessa whispered in my ear 
"don't worry I'm already planning that"
I whispered back
Eventually everyone calmed down and started planning and talking about the trip to the Bahamas since we are leaving the night of coopers birthday.
"We are all meeting at my place at 9:30 sharp and leaving to go to the airport at 10:00" Bryce stood up from his seat getting everyone's attention
"Ugh why can't this freedom happen right this second" Nessa complained leaning her head on to my shoulder
"Same here then I will have my cheeks out-"
I stopped talking while taking a slip of my beer seeing Jaden stare at me from across the table
"Let's just be baby free and live life"
Avani made a toast that everyone agreed on

I woke up to a pounding headache of my living room couch with a tank top and random shorts
"Good morning sleepy head"
Jaden said cooking eggs in the kitchen all smiley
"Jay what time is it?"
I rubbed my eyes trying to wake up
"It's 11am"
my eyes widen getting my brain to think fast
"Babe I told your mom I would pick her up from the airport half an hour ago-"
Before I could move I saw Amy coming out of the playroom holding cooper
"Well isn't this house homey for me?" Amy chuckled hugging me
"Amy I'm so sorry I-"
"Little miss thought it was a good idea to get drunk and didn't think anything of it knowing she had guest coming over" Jaden interrupted me while putting a plate together for breakfast.
"It's all fine I'm sure she won't be drunk when the Noriega family get here"
Jaden grabbed cooper from his mom's arms and put him on the chair
"where is Ellie?"
I questioned not hearing her scream random noise or words.
"She's in time out"
"What did she do?"
I opened the fridge getting myself a protein smoothie
"she started flipping off cooper."
Jaden froze his body facing me not doing anything but just stand there
"where did she learn that from?"
"Bryce probably"
I sat down on the chair next to cooper reading a vogue magazine from a couple years back.

After a few minutes I could hear little stomps above the ceiling.
"I swear to god if that's her" Jaden zoomed upstairs leaving me and Amy cracking
"You know he was a troublemaker growing up he was always doing something he wasn't supposed to be doing or sneaking out"
Amy sat next to me
"I could tell"
I made both of us laugh even more. "Look I know you didn't have the early 20s you wanted but I'm more than welcomed to step in and watch my grand babies more for you to enjoy life." Amy rubbed my hands against her like every mother does.
"Thank you but I think I'm going to enjoy the life I got since waking up hangover isn't a healthy to do every morning with my kids"
Amy gave a confused look for a moment
"every morning?"
"Not every morning but atleast 3 times a week"
I shrug my shoulders while cleaning up coopers plate
"You stinker get back here"
I see Jaden chasing Ellie around the living room hearing Ellie giggle was something I loved
"The big man has arrived!"
Harold entered the house with Treva and Parker who was behind them.
They didn't want to miss coopers big party tomorrow aswell.
I've always been grateful for their company even though they have been with me and Jaden since forever and I'm glad to still have them around even though they are not blood parents when they feel like one.
