Once Sarah was going to walk down the aisle in the big, white dress, she knew since she was a child that it had to be beautiful. But not the kind of beautiful other girls dream of. But the brief moment she would share with her significant other as they saw each other for the first time as she walked down the aisle had to be the most beautiful moment of her life. The first big core memory in a lifelong dedication to the human that had to be her home from then.
And Fast forward a couple of handful years later, that moment came, and it was a moment she was so blessed to share with her best friend. Dokyeom.
The wedding bells rang, and as Sarah took a deep breath with her dad under her arm she took the first steps down the aisle with everyone sharing sounds of approval. She started tearing up as she met eyes with a couple of family members, and also, a couple of the group members in seventeen. But as she met eyes with the love of her life, all sound disappeared and she felt fulfilled as she saw Dokyeom with the beautiful smile she fell in love with and with tears falling from his eyes. And right there, her biggest dream got real.
"Will everybody please stand up" The priest says, as silence falls upon the church. "We are gathered today to witness Sarah and Dokyeom saying yes to each other" He continues as i hear a small "Yes" come from behind me, knowing exactly who was hyping me awkwardly up in the background i smiled a little. "If you are ready, Dokyeom, i would like for you to read your wedding vows out loud." The priest continued and dokyeom cleared his throat as he pulled a paper out of his back pocket. He smiled a little insecure as it was clear on his shaking hands that he was nervous.
"Sarah, My life has been wild up until now, but even as it has been filled with so many different experiences that have toughened and made me mature, I feel as if life didn't really start until I met you. Now i can't remember a time i have smiled more or my heart has felt as full as it is now. You are my person, my inspiration, my muse, my teacher in life and I vow to show my love for you as often as I breathe. There is nothing more valuable than our love, and so I vow to treasure your heart with all it could possibly take to keep it safe. I know you chose that '' He says, as he points to the bouquet Sarah chose "Because you felt bad about how expensive all of this is, but really, it doesn't matter. The money I have doesn't matter, and you can take it all because the best thing about me is you. I vow in front of everyone to be with you for better and for worse, through sickness and health, and whatever may come our way. I Love you so, so much." Dokyeom ended, with a small whimper as he placed the ring on Sarah's finger.
"Sarah, You can read your vows now." The priest said.
"Dokyeom, My life line." When we met, our lifes looked very different. I was messy, rocky and at times difficult to understand. But you always decided to stick around, knowing that there was more to me than that. I was missing something in my life. I didn't know it was you until I met you.
When we met, I immediately fell in love with your beautiful smile and I vow to you to never be the reason for you to lose that. I have met so many people but never like you. You are a ray of hope and positivity that has defined my existence by now, and I vow to never take that for granted. My love, take this ring and wear it as a reminder of the promises we have made to each other today but also as a reassurance that I chose you, and that i would choose you again and again. Until my last breath i will be choosing you, my sun"
Sarah ended as she placed the ring on Dokyeoms finger.
"With that you are now, wife and husband. You may now kiss your bride Dokyeom" The priest said, and as soon as the sentence had been said, Dokeyum connected his and sarahs lips in a sweet kiss, with everyone's cheers in the background.
As they left the church, flower pedals were thrown at them as there softly in the background could be heard the rest of team seventeen singing. "You are my.. Home, home, home, home"...
