When I arrived at the beach it was the darkest it could be, the only thing giving me a little light is the moon that is particularly big tonight and the stars that were covering the sky as a blanket of hope and light.

I step outside and as the waves wash up on the beach, the cold wind blows, causing goosebumps to cover my arms and I couldn't help reminiscing the first time I was at this beach. Back then, I had just moved to Korea to be closer to my best friend and the first night we took a trip to this beach where we had food and swim and just laughed a lot. That's the moment I realized I really liked him as more than a friend. We are in a relationship now.

I take a few steps out in the sand, letting it form my footsteps as I look for a sign of where Wooyoung was. I saw light further away and started walking towards it and when I was nearing I saw Wooyoung run to me. He reached me at a fast speed, picking me up and spinning me around as we both laughed. "I actually wanted to stand by the blanket and look cute, but I got way too excited to see you so I had to run to you" He said out of breath as he put me down. "I don't think you could have done it any cuter than this Woo" I said, kissing his cheek. He pouted and took my hand as we walked towards what he had planned. "Are you shaking baby?" I asked, and he laughed his beautiful laugh that always hit my nerves, causing so much dopamine to rush through my body. I also knew he had something he couldn't tell me, and since he can't lie he covered it with a laugh and that's when i got nervous.

As we reached our destination I was in awe over how well prepared he had been. It was a blanket, with extra warm blankets and chocolate covered strawberries, candy, hot chocolate and whip cream. The blanket was surrounded by small lights and he had bought the most beautiful flowers. He always was very thoughtful, but this took me aback. "This is amazing Woo" I said, looking at him as he smiled a soft smile. We sat down and started on some of the things he had prepared. "Do you want some whipped cream for your chocolate?" He asked, and I nodded eagerly, making him giggle. He pulled out the can and pushed some into the chocolate but as i said it was enough he turned the can around and sprayed some on my face, hitting my nose. "WOO!" I yelled and we laughed together. "Oh I'm sorry, let me" He said, reaching in to kiss it off my nose as he plastered even more kisses all over my face making me giggle. "Enough, i want my chocolate" I said, as he pulled back with a last kiss to my forehead.

The conversations with Wooyoung were always so fluent, that's how I knew we would be together forever. There was always something new to talk about. It had been a few hours and now we were just cuddling under all the blankets looking at the stars, listening to the waves and talking about presence, future and past. But I could feel something occupying his mind and I only got more nervous as to what was going on in his head.

"Woo, I love you and this is so amazing but I can feel something is wrong. I brushed it off earlier but I want you to enjoy this as much as me" I said, looking into his eyes. "I am enjoying every second of this, I swear. But there is something" He said, wiggling out of my hold. "I know our life is complicated, I know that with me being an idol there are times where I have to be away from you, there are rumors, there are crazy fans that wish you nothing good" I cut him off, getting scared as to where this was going. "I knew what I got myself into Woo, I love you and I have no intention to stop no matter what" "I know, hear me out" He said. "We have known each other for forever and even with all the big things I have achieved it would have meant absolutely nothing without you by my side. My life is so full of uncertainties but with all the things that I don't know, what I do know is that I love you more than I have ever loved anyone or anything before. and it never changes." Tears started to form in his eyes, making me tear up as well. "Before you moved to Korea I was so miserable. I thought there was beauty and perfection in being unattainable and emotionally unavailable. But the first night we spent together here as you came I felt as if I could finally breathe, and that's when I knew I needed you in my life. That's why we are here now too. In your arms I have found safety and confidence. I have become myself again. You truly are the reason why I smile everyday. With you, I'm truly ready to face all of life's ups and downs. Will you do that with me forever? Will you marry me?" He asked, pulling out a ring from his pocket and as I looked into his eyes it was as if the stars were reflecting in them.

"Of course Woo" I said, and after he had placed the beautiful ring on my finger he picked me up and started running towards the water. "I'm getting married" He yelled, as he ran into the water with me in his arms, screaming. "Woo, I don't have any dry clothes" I pouted. "Don't worry, I got some in the car. He said, as I let go of me softly. He wrapped his arms around my waist as I wrapped mine around his neck and looked him in the eyes. "I can't wait until I get to spend the rest of my life with you. I promise I will make it easier for us, and I will protect you against everything no matter what it will cost me" He said, leaning down to kiss me. There were no words left to be said, because to both of us it was meant to be us and for the rest of our lives.
