"I got your text. What do we got?" Alex asked, walking over to Callie and Calais.

"Sixteen year old kid, fisher her out of the sound, sailing accident." Callie informed.

"You mind?" Alex asked as Jo leaned over him to get a trauma gown.

"Sorry." Jo said.

"Why are you following me?" Alex asked as they walked into the ambulance bay.

"I'm your intern for the day." Jo said, putting a pair of gloves on.

"Well, hello, intern. You have a name?" Alex asked.

"Jo Wilson." She smiled.

"Nice. I like chicks with boys' names." Alex said.

Calais chuckled but stopped immediately as Callie sent her a glare.

"Karev." Callie said sternly.

"What? I do. It's hot." Alex said.

"Stop sleeping with your coworkers. It ruins them.l" Callie said.

"I slept with you." Alex pointed out.

"And now i no longer sleep with men." Callie said loudly.

"Don't i know it." Calais chuckled.

"Seriously?" Callie asked.

"The amount of times i've walked in on you and Arizona is ridiculous." Calais said as the ambulance pulled up.

"Ok, Emery, we're gonna need to take a look at your leg." Callie said softly.

They're in a trauma room, assessing Emerys injuries.

"You and You, start cutting off the splint so we can see what we've got." Alex ordered Calais and Jo.

"I can't feel my foot." Emery said.

"Can you tell us what happened?" Callie asked as Calais and Jo started cutting the splints off Emerys legs.

"Yeah, this massive wave came up and the mast crushed my leg, and then... And then Pickle just rolled over." Emery said.

"Pickle?" Alex questioned.

"My boat. God, i can't believe i lost her. Why can't i feel my foot?" Emery cried.

"Ok, who else was on the boat with you?" Callie asked.

"No one. I'm- I'm doing a solo sail from Mexico to Alaska." Emery said.

"Oh, my god." Jo gasped once Calais room the gauze off Emery's ankle.

"Doppler. Doppler." Callie repeated and Calais passed it to her.

"Is that..." Jo trailed off, breathing deeply.

"Her tibia and fibula, i think." Calais said, looking over Callie's shoulder.
