Happily ever after

Elizabeth and Rio had been their routine down pat with the kids. Elizabeth's kids had fallen in love with Rio. Emma and Jane had started calling Rio Dad, Kenny was still cautious at the start but then Rio had sat down one on one with Kenny, he eventually felt comfortable and opened to Rio just had to be patience. The boys started calling him pops. They said they felt he was more a pop's then dad Rio was happy either way. Marcus was always excited to come down and see everyone when it was his turn with his dad, but he also appreciated the times it was just him and his dad when they were in Detroit. Elizabeth and opened a second café in Detroit and were looking at another location, Rio had secured investors for his rebuilds on factories and becoming more legit, he didn't need to rely on printing cash as he also had income from bars, gyms and restaurants he invested in. Elizabeth and Rio had a good nest of money with the business venture and properties that they had going on. 

The twins had started to learn to stand on their own they were so close to walking, Rio's mission was to get them to walk before their 1st Birthday which was in a couple weeks. Isabella's first words was "dada" Elizabeth couldn't believe it as Rio came through the door from his business trip, Isabella laid eyes on Rio and yelled "dada" Rio teared up when that happened. Christopher had done a few steps, he was rough as ever, he was bossy and knew how he wanted things he was too much like his dad it scared Elizabeth they were to much alike. Christopher first words was "mama" Elizabeth had the biggest grin ever when he yelled it out to her, he was a momma's boy and she loved it.

Elizabeth and Rio had decided to Sell the villa a month ago and go back to Detroit in a week as they both felt home was where they were together. The traveling back and forth was taking a toll on Rio so they he brought a House with the best security system in place, it had 6 bedrooms, 3 Bathrooms, Massive Kitchen with a huge Island and swimming pool Rio installed a basketball court for the kids but Elizabeth was sure it was for himself. It was more a Hampton farmhouse style Elizabeth felt it was more homely feel to it.

Everything was packed, the Villa was empty, the kids were so excited to fly back on a private jet. The new house set up, so they didn't have to worry about nothing soon as they landed. Everyone settled back into the new house quickly the kids got settled into their new school it was the same as Marcus's, so it was easier with drop off's. Rhea had slowly to build her trust with Elizabeth it took a while, but they were on a friendly basis.

The twins first Birthday was in one week, Elizabeth had everything organised to a tee Catering, Bar, jumping castle, soft play, face painters She went all out. Rio thought she was going overboard but she reminded him it's the memories you make with family. Rio's whole family were invited even Rhea couple of his boys, Ruby and stan the kids, few moms and their kids from the twin's day-care and couple of the kid's friends were invited to. Christopher was obsessed with cars and Isabella loved Butterfly's, themes for their birthday.

Birthday Time
"You good ma?" 
"Yes, Rio everything is sorted I just need to you to dress the twins, their outfits are on dressing table".
"You're kidding me ma Really; I thought you were gonna put them in costumes"
"You remember that day we meet your family its was the cutest ever thing so I had to dress them like that plus wait and see an what I got Christopher and Isabella you'll love it" 

Elizabeth got Christopher a dark navy button up shirt like his dad and black jeans with black and white converses, Isabella had a pink dress with butterflies on it with pink shoes and matching bow.

The birthday was going great everyone was enjoying themselves, Stan was talking to Rio, it took them abit but they both were into sports once Stan knew Rio wasn't a gang leader anymore, he warmed up to him. Ruby was helping Beth set up the surprise for Rio. The cake was set up in front of the balloons she got everyone to stand around. All you could hear was remote control car weaving through people. Christopher in the driver's seat in a mini–Black G-wagon an Isabella sitting with her brother. The twins were smiling and giggling as they made their entrance to blow out their cake. Everyone was laughing this was the cutest entrance ever.

"Ma,I can't believe you got them a mini-G-wagon".
"isn't it the cutest thing ever!"
"Christopher looks badass but my little princess I can't" he laughed.

As the twins blew out their candles Rio put Christopher down to play with the G-wagon an before he could register what was happening, he pulled himself up and started taking steps back to Rio, Rio jumped up and down he was so excited.
"Honey, you do realise were gonna have to chase him everywhere now".
"I know, just gotta get little miss princess walking" Rio giving Elizabeth a soft kiss.

The twins first birthday went off without a hitch. Elizabeth was so exhausted she fell asleep soon as her head hit the pillow. Rio walked in after checking on the kids he pulled Elizabeth into him as he cuddled her to sleep. It was his favourite thing to do having her cuddled into him on his chest as he played with her hair.
