Their LOVE

My girlfriend

"That was for the marriage." She replied confidently.

"So, you'll be MY GIRLFRIEND and marry someone else." He said while keeping his face in the crook of her neck. She was feeling a zoo in her whole body due to the proximity. 

"Your fragrance is so intoxicating, Penguin." He said and left her.

"You go sleep on the bed." He said and she looked confused and asked, "Where'll you sleep, then?"

"Don't worry about me. Just go and have some rest." He said sitting on the couch with his laptop. She sat on the bed scrolling through her phone. A message popped on her screen. It was Avyansh's message, "We need your DNA sample, Mannat. What about after two days?"

"Okay!" She replied.

She kept the phone aside and sat there leaning her head on the headboard. Her eyes closed and her mind swirling in the thoughts of the past.

A small girl roaming here and there in a mansion with a boy running behind her. The mansion is being decorated for some occasion. The sound of their giggles are echoing in the mansion.
The elders are busy in looking at the preparations.

The children went out of the house near a park. The boy caught the girl saying, "Dhund hi liya tumhe, HEER!" The girl kissed the boy's cheek making him shocked and again ran away. She said, "Ab pakad ke btaiye, Maharaj!" She ran inside the house.

She was running through the chaos in the mansion while the boy chasing her. "Tumhe to main pakad hi loonga!" Then, the girl ran around a couch. The boy said, "This isn't fair, Heer! Lekin jb tum pakdi gye na, to tumhe mujhse koi nhi bcha skta."

"Dhamki kisi aur ko dijiyega, Maharaj! Main apse darne wali nhi hoon!"
She ran towards the assembly hall. It was the hall for the crowning ceremony of the king. But she realised that the boy had left behind. She went out of the hall but someone hit her from behind and she started feeling dizzy.

The last thing she heard was a voice yelling, "Heeeeeer!"

Mannat's eyes snapped open hearing the voice in her thoughts. Her breathing turned heavier. Who was this Heer and that boy? Where were they and the assembly hall? Tears were unknowingly streaming down her cheeks. Randheer looked at her and rushed to her side. "What happened, Amber?" He asked and she hugged him tightly. She was crying continuously. "Calm down, baby. Only I am here. Stop crying, please." He said trying to console her while rubbing her back.

He kept rubbing her back and after some time, her weeping stopped. He looked at her peaceful yet tear-streaked face and saw that she had fallen asleep. He examined her face. There were dried stains of tears on her cheeks and her eyes were red due to crying. But her face was glowing in the dim light of the room. He kissed her forehead and thought, 'What happened to her suddenly?'

He kissed her puffy eyes!

Those eyes!

Amber

The eyes which have captivated him and kept him captive with her.

But does he mind?

Not when it's her!

Then, he made her lie down and turned the lights of the room off. He couldn't go to the other room due to her condition and he didn't want to make her uncomfortable by sleeping beside her on the bed. So, he decided to sleep on the couch in his room.

He settled down on the couch thinking about her. He looked at her and drifted off to sleep. He hardly fit on the couch but sleep was weighing heavy on his eyes.

Next day.....
Mannat woke up with rays of sunlight peeking into the room. She opened her eyes and realised she was in Randheer's penthouse. A smile made its way on her face when she remembered his proposal. She looked around the room and saw Randheer sleeping on the couch. She felt bad but happy as he was sleeping on the couch for her.

She went towards him and said, "Good morning, boyfriend." She kissed his cheek and he smiled in his sleep feeling her touch. But suddenly the memory of her past came in front of her. She went towards the bed and saw it was 7 o'clock.

She called Avyansh and he picked up in the fifth ring,
"Kya hua hai, kisko mrna hai subah subah?" He spoke from the other side in a loud voice.

"Teri behen bol rhi hu, bandar!"

"O god, kya ho gya tujhe? Khi jiju ne kisi or ko propose to nhi kr dia? Tu ab mujhse sympathy lene ae hai!"

"Ha! Ek good news hai!"

"Vaa! Shadi hui bhi nhi or pehle hi good news. Main mamu bnne vala hu!" He uttered excitedly.

"Shut up! The good news is that he proposed to me to be his girlfriend."

"Congrats, Mannat. Chal, ab phone rakh! Rakh phone."

"Arey, I wanted to say that please stop that investigation for some time!" She said and Avyansh's eyes jerked open hearing her.

"What has happened, Mannat?" He questioned, evidently worried about her.

"I...I'll tell you some other time. But, please stop it for now."

"Why? Don't you want to find your parents?"

"I want to... But, I... Honestly, I can't bring myself to explain this. I'll tell you some other time."

"Okay! But always remember, that if you want to share anything, I am there for you and now you have your boyfriend as well." He said understanding her dilemma.

She blushed to hear of her boyfriend. Randheer had got up and he felt jealous when he looked at her blushing. He went to her and asked, "Who's there on the call?"

"Vaa! Jiju ke sath reh rhi hai tu aj!" She blushed more looking at Randheer and his hand fisted. He snatched the phone from her hand. He saw 'Ansh' displaying on the screen and boiled in anger. He instantly cut the call.

"What happened, Randheer?" She asked and he closed his eyes not to show his anger. He turned around such that his back was facing her. He punched hard in the wall.
