Ethereal beauty

They both had their breakfast. Randheer washed the dishes. He sat on the couch and she seated herself on his lap. Her arms wrapped around his neck and his hands on her waist.

She kissed on his cheek. 

"Itna pyar kis liye, Pranpriye?" He asked softly. Her heart skipped a beat at 'Pranpriye' but she composed herself and said, "It's a five-star rating for your breakfast."

"Five-star rating? But you have just given me one-star." He said with a pout. She shook her head and kissed his forehead, then both cheeks and at last pecked his lips.

"Amber, don't you think, the last star you have given is half?" He said and she shook her head saying, "You are such a greedy boyfriend even after being a king!"

"When it comes to you, I can be the most greedy boyfriend. Now, fulfill my greed." He said she gave a long peck on his lips.

"You really love teasing me, don't you?" He asked and she giggled. He pulled her for a kiss but she kept a hand on her lips and said, "Dheer, I've to take a bath. Let me go." He kissed her hand and moved away.

The bell rang and she got up from his lap. "You go check." She said.
"You can take bath in the guest room. There are various female dresses there. Choose whichever you like." He says and she goes to the guest room.

He opens the door and Vansh Ranawat enters inside.
"Vansh, you here?" Randheer said while hugging him.
"Yes, dude! Now, will you let me in?" He said and Randheer gave him space to enter. They both went and seated themselves on the couch.
Randheer goes to the kitchen and brings cold drink for both of them.
"When did you return?" Randheer asked
"Last week!" Vansh replied.
"How's company?"
"It's great. How's yours? And you haven't contacted me for such a long time! Where were you busy?" Vansh queried sipping the cold drink.
"Company's going good. And you yourself haven't contacted me. So, why blame only me?" Randheer answered.
"Vaise, when are you getting married?" Vansh inquired teasingly.
"Soon!" Randheer responded with a smile. Vansh eyes widened listening to him.
He became silent for a moment pondering over something.
"What happened now?" Randheer asked.
"I like a girl." Vansh replied without giving it a thought.
"Wow! Who's she?" Randheer inquired in excitement.
"I met her at the business party. She's so beautiful and genuine." He told Randheer.
"And whom do you like?" Vansh asked.
"My girlfriend!" Randheer replied looking towards the guest room.
"You have a girlfriend?" Vansh asked unable to control his excitement.
"Yes, I do!" Randheer announced and Vansh chuckled saying, "Such a shock it is."
Then, a sweet voice came from the guest room. "Dheer, come and help me."
Vansh asked, "Is there a girl here?"
"Yes, wait I'll just come." Randheer said and went towards the guest room. He opened the door and went inside. He gulped looking at her queen admiring herself in the mirror. Her gaze shifted to him and she said, "Dheer, help me to tie this knot at the back!" He went to her and she turned.

"Are you comfortable if I do it?" He asked looking at their reflection in the mirror.
"Yes, whom else would I be comfortable with?" She said and he started tying the knot looking into her eyes in the mirror. A shiver ran down her spine when his hand brushed against her back. He kissed her bare shoulder after tying it.
"How am I looking?" She asked and he whispered in her ear, "I don't have words to describe your beauty. You are looking like an ethereal beauty."
He untied her hair from the bun and she asked, "Why did you do it?"
"Let them be free, Amber. I love how they fall so beautifully around your shoulders, " he said, and she smiled.
"My friend has arrived. Let's go to the hall." He said and she replied, "I'll come in some time. I've to call Tridha. She has called so many times."
"Okay, baby! Come fast." He said and went outside.
Randheer sat beside Vansh and asked, "What are you doing?"
"Nothing!"
"Whom do you like!" Randheer asked
"You know her." Vansh replied.
"Who's she?" Randheer continued.
"Your assistant, Mannat. She's just awesome and....." He was saying but Randheer cut him off saying, "And my girlfriend."
"Bro! Seriously. She's your girlfriend?" Vansh asked being shocked.
"Yes, Vansh. I am sorry, but it looks like your luck is betraying you this year. And a warning: just stay away from her." Randheer warned, and Vansh huffed, saying, "How can she be? She's such a great girl, and you..."
"Dude! Do you need a confirmation now?" Randheer said sarcastically.
"Surely, I do!" Vansh mockingly replied.
"You'll get it in some time." Randheer said but Vansh didn't understand.

Meanwhile, Mannat was talking to Tridha.

T- Hello, cherry! I'll call later. I've got to do something, you know, to get over this single era.

M- Wow! You have made a proper plan.

T- Okay, bye. and I wanted to tell you that I am coming back to the apartment after two days. So, come back after spending your time with your boyfriend. I have got a lot to share.

Then, she cut the call and Mannat went outside. She came out of the room and Vansh's gaze shifted to her.

"She's here?" Vansh asked and Randheer replied, "Yes, who else?"

"I thought Teena was here." Vansh said and Mannat came towards them. She passed a smile to them.

"He's Vansh Ranawat, My friend. AND She's my girlfriend, Mannat." Randheer introduced them to each other.

"Hello, Vansh! We have met earlier as well, Dheer!" Mannat said sitting beside Randheer.

"Hello, Mannat. Yes, we've met but that was professionally." Vansh said more like reminded her of what she had told him.

"I am sorry for that but that's my professional life. Now, we are meeting personally." Mannat responded with a smile.

"What happened, guys?" Randheer asked and Mannat said "He was asking about my relationship status at that business party and I refused to tell him saying that we are at a professional party."

Randheer laughed hearing her and said, "Bro! Your luck is really bad, this year. Amber, You did great."

"BTW, were you single at that time?" Vansh asked and Mannat replied saying, "Yes, I was."

"So, when did you propose to her?" He inquired Randheer.

"Yesterday!" Randheer said and Vansh huffed at his luck.

"What happened, Vansh?" Mannat asked concerned.

"Nothing Mannat. He had gone to buy a Kohinoor diamond but later realized there was no diamond in that shop." Randheer said mockingly and Vansh glared at him. Mannat was confused about what he was talking about.

"Dheer, I've to go home after two days. Tridha is coming back." Mannat said.
