Today it's February 28, 2060...
It has been almost a month or so since Alice snuck in the base...After these back-to-back events, the government surprisingly actually took some time to make security around here tighter and more frequent...
And not just in Airfield 57...
Multiple bases had these same problems but were dealt with...
Along with firing thousands of people at once which will definitely make the news...Now I'm questioning wether its the employees or the employer that's the problem...
But either way, things ain't looking to good for a lot of us... Especially Josh...Even though he wasn't at the root of the problem with his mom and Alice...
The higher-ups are getting less and less pleased with him and his behaviour towards others...
By some miracle, courtesy of the General Bellenir, he was able to make the lawyers back off without any sort of problem...It would be that or Missy and Miami would've skinned me and the guys...
But for those are the only good that we have... For the most part...
Even after all the speech he gave... Things still weren't too good for Josh...He was now bound within a confined perimeter and under VERY strict orders to not engage anyone or anything without explicit orders or they engage first...
And to top it off, there would be a hearing about what to do with him later in a few weeks...To cool off, Josh goes to the spot in the woods he found...
Nobody knows what the hell he does to cool off...
Everyone except Lt. Chase...
She's the only one who's not scared to go after him...
But she doesn't say a peep to us...But his behaviour lately has seem to be more focused on his body rather than his surroundings...
Like he was... Changing...
(Lusk's P.O.V.)
I wasn't spending as much time with people... Or aeros for that matter...
I kept hearing gossip here and there when the repair crews passed by...Stuff like how some of the older aeros were concerned for me and wanted to take me under their wing...
But the General promptly refused because of the "unique" circumstances and conditions I was in...Stuff like trauma and trust...
But not gonna lie... I kinda am reluctant...
Of being part of a family again...After my bitchy mom and bastard dad did to me, and what Alice did to me, I'm not exactly in a position to trust new people that easily...
But I did learn a lot about my new body...
Firstly was my eyes...
I had now an advanced "zoom" system and analysis program that allows me to gets specs and identify who or whatever I want, it even works as an multi-focus system...Secondly was my hands...
I could plug my fingertip inside any device with my hands and access it...
A computer? Easily... A phone? Done. But then I got curious about something else...Today was supposedly the day when a researcher or someone like that came to the Airfield to analyze me...
After my initial "tantrum" that wounded my mother, some of the more experienced and serious mechanics did a check-up on me and somewhere along the way, they became more confused than dumb-founded...
Strangely some of the women in that crew were very flustered...
I can't guess why but it's irrelevant...
