Nari POV
We're finally half way through with the day. It's lunch time and I'm seated beside Chae, who is sitting with her group of friends. She had introduced me to all of them. They all genuinely seemed like nice people. I especially bonded with Soyeon. She was really easy to open up tp and talk to. We all kept chit chatting until I excused myself to the bathroom.
Chae offered to take me, but I was too persistent in trying to know the place myself, I had denied. Making random twists and turns, I find my way to the restroom and complete my business. I stepped out of the bathroom and tried finding my way back, as we still had an hour until lunch ended.
I was trying to look for any sign of where the cafeteria might be. I kept walking until I accepted bumped into a person. I immediately apologized and bowed. The hooded person bowes back and left.
Embarrassed, I continued to look, when I saw a letter on the ground. I pick it up and see my name written on it.
Maybe the mysterious person also had the same name?...
I turn around to return the letter, but the person was gone.
My curiosity was getting the best of me, and I wanted to rip the letter open badly. I took a sneak peak, but I could barely see anything.
Screw it.
I opened the letter and it read,
Choi Nari, I'm aware this is your first day. Meet me by the bottom of the staircase. Don't be late. Tell anyone or fail to proceed, I will make your life hell. Meet me there in five.
Signed, Serpent
I look at the letter with wide eyes.
What?
How do they know who I am? Why do they want to meet me? With all these questions overwhelming me, I took a look at my watch and see that lunch is going to end in some time. I really didn't have much to lose... besides my life.
I make my way to where I think the staircase is.
I obviously get lost. Luckily, I found a girl, and I managed to ask her for help. Thankfully, she didn't ask many questions. I had found out that her name was Hwang Hana.
She was a really pretty girl with long, straight black hair. Her makeup was done so beautifully, and it complemented her siren eyes. She brought me to under the staircase, and was going to leave, when I saw a moment of realization in her eyes.
We all looked at each other in confusion.
Wait a minute. I slightly raise my finger, pointing at the blonde boy from earlier.
"Aren't we in the same class?"
The boy was leaning against the wall just huffs and nods his head. Jeez, is he always this moody?
Pushing the rest of my thoughts aside, I was thinking if either one of these people knew what was happening.
Before I could voice out my thoughts, a boy with brown hair and slight freckled over his face with a well built figure spoke up.
"I have no idea who you guys are, but I was just told to come here."
He admitted, with his hands crossed over his chest. We nodded, and this time Hana spoke up.
"It was someone named 'Ser' som-"
She was cut off by the blonde guy.
"Serpent."
