The truth

They were now back in Seoul and in school. Chae questioned as to why Nari was gone the entire week. She just let her know that she had some business in Busan. She let it pass, and they both headed to their classes. The four of them made sure to meet up during lunch from time-to-time if the others ever saw or heard anything suspicious.

But recently, all that was clouding Yoongi's thoughts were Nari. Ever since Ye Joon brought up the fact he liked her, he couldn't help but keep thinking about her.

Not that he likes her.

Never.

She's Nari.

He couldn't possibly like Nari.

"Whatcha thinkin' about now?" Ye Joon dropped his arm over Yoongi's shoulder.

"Is it Nari?" Yoongi's silence tells him he's right.

He turns to look at him and starts clapping while laughing. Ye Joon started teasing him again on how he likes her. But once more, he denied having feeling any affection towards her.

"My guy, you will die single like this," Ye Joon shook his head.

"What you need is my help," he smirked and dragged Yoongi along with him to God knows where.

Back in Nari's class, she kept thinking about that Jimin guy. His fluffy orange hair, his pink plump lips, his beautiful toned body, all of it was just perfect.

"Earth to Nari," Chae snaps her fingers. Nari noticed she was zoning out during math and refocused herself. She apologized and continued her work. Chae was just analyzing her. She asked her what she was thinking about, and Nari told her 'just some guy'.

Chae 'oohed' and asked what he looked like. Nari put down her pencil and faced Chae. She started describing the gorgeous man, and Chae's mouth gaped low. Nari shook her head. Too bad he lived in Busan.

They continued their assignment from there. Honestly, Nari loved how no matter how physically far away she felt from Chae, she always knew they would always be close mentally. No matter how many secrets she had to keep from her, she would tell her the things she could.

That's what kept this friendship going.

Trust.

"Okay, my chemists in the work, we are now going to pick up the solution on our right, and add it to the one to the one on the left and see what happens. Make sure you have your goggles on though, don't wanna be filling out documents later on." Mrs. Kim, their chemistry teacher, joked.

They did just that, and an erupt of some blue solution started bubbling. Nari was lost into her world with Chae, just having a good time. But one thing she didn't notice was the way Yoongi was unconsciously smiling while staring at her smiling.

"Yo, she said to mix it," Hyun Woo had to ruin Yoongi's train of thought.

"Huh? Oh ya."

"Who caught your eye?" Hyun Woo turned to look.

"Mind your own business, and pass me that mixer," Yoongi was agitated. Hyun Woo put up his arms in surrender and passed the mixer. Yoongi took one last glance at Nari before going back to work.

What was up with him lately? He was always caught slacking, either thinking about Nari or looking at her. It was as if everyone had suddenly gotten the power to read minds. But ever since the trip, he couldn't get her image out of his head. Her smiling face, her beautiful eyes, her sun-kissed skin, her gorgeous full pink lips.

Oh gosh.

Those lips.

What?

Her lips?

No, no, no, he must be getting sick. I mean, why else would he be thinking so irrationally?

The bell had just rang, and they were free from school. Well, only for today. It was home time, and they all proceeded to their respective bussing area. Ye Joon caught up with Yoongi, and Hana caught up with Nari. The four of them were waiting at the same stop for Namjoon to pick them up.

"You good dude?" Ye Joon held Yoongi's shoulder. Something he figured he does a lot. Yoongi had come to a conclusion.

He did feel something toward Nari, but it was minor. He wouldn't call it a crush, though. He decided to wait until the two of them were alone to tell Ye Joon.

Namjoon's car had arrived, and the four had hopped in.

"You're staring," Ye Joon stretched the word staring, whispering so no one other than them could hear. Yoongi unglued his eyes from Nari and pulled out his phone.

Hana was sitting in the front this time, and the three were sitting in the back.

Yoongi opened his notes app and wrote,

"I think I like Nari."
