The kitchen looked like a war zone. Flour covered every surface, and in the middle of it all stood Taehyung and Lisa, both white as ghosts and trying not to laugh.

"I can't believe you did that," Lisa said, her voice shaky with held-back giggles as she wiped flour from her eyes.

Taehyung's grin was huge, despite the mess. His heart was beating fast, and not just from their food fight. "Me? You started it!"

"Did not!" Lisa protested, but her eyes were bright with laughter.

"Did too!" Taehyung shot back, feeling warm and happy inside. "I was just trying to bake a cake, and you decided to 'help'."

Lisa couldn't hold back her laughter anymore. "Okay, okay. Maybe I'm not the best baker. But come on, isn't this fun?"

Taehyung felt his fake anger melt away. "Yeah, it kind of is," he admitted, smiling. "Though I don't think most people celebrate their friendaversary like this."

"Most people are boring," Lisa declared. She reached for the flour bag with a mischievous look. "And speaking of fun..."

Before Taehyung could duck, Lisa threw a handful of flour right at his face. He blinked, surprised, then felt a spark of playfulness.

"Oh, it's on now," he growled, grabbing the sugar.

Lisa shrieked with laughter, diving behind the kitchen island. "Missed me!" she taunted as Taehyung's sugar throw went wide.

For the next few minutes, the kitchen was a battlefield. Flour bombs exploded everywhere, sugar rained down, and their laughter filled the air. Taehyung felt light and happy, like a kid again.

"Give up!" he called, waving a whisk like a sword. "I'll go easy on you!"

Lisa peeked out from behind the fridge, her eyes sparkling. "Never! A true warrior never surrenders!"

She made a dash for the sink, but Taehyung was quicker. He caught her around the waist, lifting her off her feet. Lisa's surprised squeal made his stomach do a flip.

"Gotcha!" he crowed, spinning her around.

But they were both slippery with flour. Lisa slipped from his grasp, and they tumbled to the floor, laughing and tangled together.

As their giggles died down, Taehyung realized how close they were. His heart started racing again, but for a different reason. Lisa's face was right there, her eyes wide and beautiful.

"Hi," she whispered, and Taehyung felt warm all over.

"Hi yourself," he murmured back, suddenly very aware of how nice it felt to be this close to her.

The oven timer's loud beep made them both jump. They scrambled up, both a little red-faced under the flour.

"The cake!" Taehyung yelped, rushing to the oven.

Lisa winced as he pulled out what looked more like a lump of coal than a cake. "Oops?"

Taehyung couldn't help but laugh. "Well, I guess we're not winning any baking contests today."

"Are you kidding?" Lisa grinned, gesturing at their messy selves and the chaos around them. "I'd say we're winning at having fun!"

Taehyung felt a rush of affection for her. "True. Though now we don't have anything for our friendaversary."
