"Her only way out of this nightmare was to outwit the madman who had decided they would be forever entombed in his delusional dream of "paradise"...or die trying."

Lisa thought she had finally found the one. Taehyung Kim swept her off her feet from the moment they met - handsome, successful, and charming in that reserved yet magnetic way. He courted her with romantic gestures, showering Lisa with affection and making her feel cherished in a way she'd never experienced before. After too many failed relationships, Taehyung felt like the soulmate she had been searching for her whole life.

In the beginning, Taehyung seemed almost too perfect to be real. He doted on Lisa endlessly, surprising her with flowers at work and whisking her away to luxurious weekend getaways. But she simply basked in the warmth of having an attentive, caring partner who wanted to provide her with the finer things in life.

"You deserve to be treated like a queen, princess," he would murmur, lips brushing the delicate shell of her ear in a way that made Lisa shiver with delight. "Let me take care of you, always."

And take care of her Taehyung did. Lavishing Lisa with diamond jewelry, paying off her student loans, helping her afford a beautiful high-rise apartment. With his wealth and family status, he showered her in luxuries. All he asked for in return was Lisa's complete devotion.

The first hints of Taehyung's darker nature only emerged after they had dated for over a year and moved in together. Little things at first - snooping through Lisa's texts, making jealous comments about male coworkers, sulking whenever she wanted a girls' night without him.

"We're building a life together," he'd say in a low, controlled tone that sent prickles of unease across Lisa's skin. "Your loyalty needs to be to me and only me now. I'm your family."

When Lisa protested needing some independence, Taehyung's obsessive behavior only intensified. She discovered he had hired a private investigator to trail her movements. Then came the incessant calls demanding to know her every move and who she spoke with.

"I'm just looking out for you, protecting what's mine," he insisted through gritted teeth whenever Lisa confronted him. "There are snakes everywhere who would love to slither their way into my precious girl's life. You're lucky to have someone willing to go to such lengths to keep you safe."

Taehyung's mercurial jealousy escalated into emotional abuse and intimidation tactics that left Lisa walking on eggshells constantly. She lived in perpetual fear of setting off his possessive rage over perceived slights no matter how small.

When she caught a coworker's admiring glance, Taehyung exploded with accusations of her leading him on. A simple coffee meetup with an old girlfriend prompted him to snatch Lisa's purse and ransack it for any evidence of betrayal. His pathological jealousy spiraled completely out of control.

"You're mine, every perfect inch of you," he growled, calloused hands roaming her body with domineering ownership as they lay tangled in the sheets. "Your mind, your spirit, everything belongs to me and me alone."

Lisa recoiled at the scorching obsession blazing in his eyes. This went far beyond romantic adoration into the territory of mentally unraveling fixation. Taehyung's love had twisted into something violently possessive and psychologically shackling.

Yet she was too entrapped in the mental bondage of their toxic relationship to make any significant attempts at breaking free. The psychological torment and controlled environment systematically chipped away at Lisa's independence, her confidence, her sense of self-worth over the years.
