Li Ran was stunned for a moment, staring blankly at Wen Qing.

"Keep the gifts safe?" she wondered aloud.

There had been so many rules and precautions over the past few days that Li Ran had mixed them up. She had no memory of the rule Wen Qing mentioned about the land animal visitor guidelines.

She tried to recall it, but still couldn't remember, so she asked softly, "Where was this rule?"

Wen Qing thought for a moment and said, "In the Orangutan and Monkey Pavilion, one side of the sign had the guidelines for the land animal area, and the other side had the precautions for the pavilion."

Li Ran then remembered, "Oh, right, I think I saw that."

As they walked forward, Wen Qing said softly, "The land animal rules conflict with the ocean pavilion rules."

Li Ran, still confused, nodded and waited for their analysis. "And then?"

Ye Ye frowned, eyes darkened, and said, "When we entered the instance, the system told all players to pay attention to the zoo rules and regulations, but didn't say we had to follow them."

Wen Qing was very familiar with this, having encountered it before. He told the two of them directly, "I've come across this system message in other instances too. Back then, I had to break the rules to clear the instance."

Ye Ye glanced at him and said, "I know. The Seminary."

Wen Qing paused, realizing it was Bai Tong who told him this. Curious, he asked, "Did Bai Tong tell you everything?"

Ye Ye replied, "He mentioned the method to clear it, just in case we encounter the instance in the future."

Wen Qing wanted to ask more about Bai Tong but was interrupted by Ye Ye, "We'll talk about Bai Ge later."

He pursed his lips, not wanting to hear Wen Qing continuously talk about Bai Tong. "Right now, we're in this instance."

Wen Qing blinked, thinking that Ye Ye meant they should focus on solving the current instance. He made a sound of acknowledgment and continued, "But this instance has too many rules and precautions, which should be different from my previous experience."

He hesitated and said, "Conflicting precautions like these... might mean we need to pay attention to the rules. The rules are hinting at something."

Wen Qing was a bit uncertain and looked up at Ye Ye. In previous instances, he had never played the role of analyzing or leading; he was always the one clinging to someone else for support.

Ye Ye quietly watched him and nodded.

Wen Qing went on, "The conflicting rules between the ocean pavilion and the land animals indicate that they are opposed to each other. One side is lying and has ulterior motives."

Li Ran pondered for a while, slowly clarifying her thoughts, "So one side's rules are fake and deceiving us."

Wen Qing nodded, "The guidelines at the resting area also say that the zoo is dangerous at night and that if we need to leave, we must carry gifts from the animals."

"Land animals and the resting area are one faction; marine animals are another."

Li Ran, who was already confused by the rules, was now faced with the possibility of fake rules. She asked, bewildered, "So which one do we follow? Who's the good side?"

Wen Qing slowed his pace to distance themselves from the other players and lowered his voice, "My identity card says I like land."

Li Ran said softly, "Mine says 'law-abiding.'"
