Li Jingjing's eyelids twitched, and she quickly stepped forward to cover Li Ran's mouth.
She leaned close to Li Ran's ear and whispered, "You little brat, don't you know when to keep quiet?!"
Vines, Wen Qing.
Bai Tong looked down at the shattered glass on the ground and realized what had happened.
His face darkened.
Ye Ye strode to the broken floor-to-ceiling window, and the cold wind blew in.
He scanned the area, but with the dim light and the vines' natural concealment, he couldn't determine which direction Wen Qing had been taken.
Li Ran noticed the change in Ye Ye and Bai Tong's expressions and didn't dare make a sound.
She turned to look at Li Jingjing.
Li Jingjing whispered, "What did you see? Speak clearly."
"Don't provoke them."
Li Ran quickly nodded.
Li Jingjing released her hand.
Li Ran cleared her throat and said, "I heard a loud noise from the next room, so I came over. When I opened the door, Brother Ye was already here."
Bai Tong raised his eyes to look at Ye Ye.
Ye Ye said in a deep voice, "I was late."
"There was a woman here just now."
Li Ran was momentarily stunned, realizing who he was talking about, and quickly explained, "Oh, that person is Big Brother's friend."
"He's not a woman, he's a cross-dresser, a man."
"He..." she paused, puzzled, "Why was he here just now? And looking like he just woke up?"
"Did he sleep in Big Brother's room?"
Li Ran turned to look at the bedroom. The door was open, and the messy bed clearly indicated someone had just slept there.
Li Jingjing reached out and pinched a piece of flesh on Li Ran's arm.
Li Ran's face twisted slightly in pain, and she quickly added, "He's just a normal friend of Big Brother's. Even if they kissed, Big Brother isn't interested in him."
At these words, Ye Ye and Bai Tong's expressions darkened further.
Li Jingjing raised her hand again to cover Li Ran's mouth, slowly retreating to the back of the crowd in the hallway.
She lowered her voice and said, "Didn't I tell you to speak properly?"
Li Ran muttered softly, "I said Big Brother isn't interested in him."
"Even if they slept together, it was probably just chatting under the covers."
"Stop talking," Li Jingjing paused, then asked, "First, tell me about the kissing."
...
On the other side, Wen Qing was trapped in a cocoon of vines.
His hands and feet were bound by the vines, leaving him unable to move. And with Ji Junfeng's main body not present and no usable items on hand, he had no choice but to give up struggling and stay inside the cocoon.
Wen Qing had grown accustomed to the darkness and wasn't afraid of being trapped in the vines. He was more worried about meeting Ji Junfeng later.
He sighed softly and called out in his mind, "001."
001 responded.
Hearing 001's voice, Wen Qing felt slightly less tense.
He looked down and asked, "How can a boss in a dungeon become a player?"
He wasn't expecting an answer from 001; he just wanted to vent a little to ease his emotions.
Unexpectedly, 001 said slowly, "Not just bosses."
Wen Qing pressed his lips together, his expression changing.
From 001's words, it seemed everyone in the dungeon could become a player.
"Has Heiwei become a player too?"
"What about Xing Ze?"
"And Song Xuan and Fu Ranxiu..."
Wen Qing couldn't imagine them all becoming players.
001 said, "I mean, everyone has a chance to become a player."
"Not that they all have."
Wen Qing lowered his eyes, thinking about the real-world setting of the dungeon, starting to understand 001's point.
Different worlds and different people could all potentially become players.
Ji Junfeng, being Yu Xing's high priest, would naturally have an easier time becoming a player.
Wen Qing pinched his palm and quietly asked 001, "Why are you suddenly telling me this?"
001 didn't answer.
Wen Qing asked again, "Is this something you can say?"
001 still didn't answer.
Wen Qing started to wonder if the main system's control over 001 had lessened because the human world had become a dungeon.
He tentatively asked, "001, how can I escape?"
001 was silent for a moment before saying softly, "Don't be afraid."
"Nothing will happen."
Wen Qing felt like crying, "Something will happen."
Ji Junfeng was Yu Xing's high priest!
Yu Xing, the god of lust!
The vines seemed to sense his emotional fluctuations. One vine swayed in front of Wen Qing.
The tip of the vine trembled, blossoming into a small flower that nuzzled his cheek affectionately.
Wen Qing opened his mouth but then felt the cocoon come to a stop.
His body stiffened, and he pinched his palm, ready to use an item at any moment.
Wen Qing stared intently at the vine cocoon in front of him. Suddenly, the vines slowly unwound from the top down, falling to the ground.
There was no one in front of him, just another wall of vines.
Was Ji Junfeng not home?
Wen Qing hadn't yet breathed a sigh of relief when a cool breath appeared behind him.
A pair of hands suddenly wrapped around his waist.
"Finally found you," Ji Junfeng's ethereal voice whispered in his ear.
Wen Qing's eyelashes trembled, and he asked dryly, "Why... why are you looking for me?"
Ji Junfeng tilted his head, resting it on Wen Qing's shoulder, gazing dreamily at his profile.
After a moment, he said softly, "If you don't stay, I have to come find you."
Wen Qing pressed his lips tightly together, quickly surveying his surroundings.
The walls, floor, and ceiling were all covered with vines. From the bed and wardrobe in front of him, he could tell it was a bedroom.
He didn't dare use the Victim Aura item.
Ji Junfeng wasn't a typical villain; what if it made him want to bully him more?
Wen Qing slightly turned his head and saw the window on the side. Even the window was covered in grid-like vines, making it impossible to escape through it.
In the Seminary, even when Ji Junfeng was asleep, the vines were active.
Even if he used the "No Lewdness Allowed" item to weaken Ji Junfeng, he might still not be able to leave.
So the only usable item left was the Dog Trainer Aura.
Wen Qing flexed his fingers slightly.
Ji Junfeng buried his head in Wen Qing's neck, deeply inhaling his scent. "I've been looking for you for so long."
Wen Qing didn't dare move, afraid that any movement would provoke Ji Junfeng. He lowered his eyes and nervously said, "Um... I'm hungry."
"Food..." Ji Junfeng responded softly, "We have that."
As soon as he spoke, Wen Qing felt the vines at his feet come to life, starting to wriggle.
Several vines climbed up, slipping into his pant legs and winding around his calves in tight spirals.
In the darkness, more vines brushed against his hands, affectionately nudging him before slipping into his sleeves, wrapping around his wrists and arms.
They made no other movements, just quietly binding him.
Ji Junfeng released his grip on Wen Qing's waist and asked softly, "What does Qing Qing want to eat?"
Wen Qing breathed a small sigh of relief, thinking Ji Junfeng might be afraid he would run away and was using the vines to keep him bound.
He opened his mouth, intending to request some complicated dishes.
Ji Junfeng suddenly moved in front of him, slowly bending down.
Wen Qing instinctively tried to step back, but the vines tightened around his legs, preventing any movement. The vines on his arms quickly grew, extending up his sleeves to his neck, supporting his head.
He couldn't even turn his head.
Ji Junfeng pressed his nose against Wen Qing's, smiling softly, "How about you eat me?"
