Wen Qing sat in front of the computer, staring at the various surveillance screens. Dr. Chen and Li Ran, among others, were constantly moving between the rooms on the fourth floor. From the surveillance, it looked like the situation was temporarily under control. Wen Qing let out a breath and glanced a few more times at Bai Tong, Ye Ye, and Jiang Yan.

Ye Ye and Jiang Yan were lying obediently, one in a daze and the other asleep. As for Bai Tong, he suddenly stood up, walked to the wall, and looked directly at the camera. Wen Qing was caught off guard and made eye contact with him. Bai Tong's face was expressionless as he quietly looked at him, then after a few seconds, he smiled. Wen Qing was stunned, only to see Bai Tong mouthing something. The surveillance screen wasn't big enough to see Bai Tong's lips clearly, so he couldn't make out what he said. While Wen Qing was still pondering this, the surveillance screen flickered and turned black.

Wen Qing clicked the mouse; the other surveillance feeds were fine, but Bai Tong's room had an issue. He quickly pressed the walkie-talkie and said to Dr. Chen, "Dr. Chen, the surveillance in Bai Tong's room seems to have a problem. Should I do anything?"

"No need," a male voice responded on the walkie-talkie.

A very familiar male voice.

Wen Qing was slightly taken aback and tentatively called, "Bai Tong?"

"Yeah," Bai Tong responded calmly. "It seems the surveillance just malfunctioned."

Wen Qing acknowledged, glancing at Dr. Chen in room 0414, feeling puzzled. "Why are you holding the walkie-talkie?"

Bai Tong said slowly, "Dr. Chen left her walkie-talkie with me. I'm going to return it to her now."

Wen Qing didn't doubt him and said, "She's in 0414. But can you leave your room? Aren't your doors locked?"

Bai Tong chuckled lightly, recalling who was in room 0414. "She must have been in too much of a hurry and forgot to lock the door."

As he finished speaking, Wen Qing saw Bai Tong's room door open. He walked towards 0414, back facing the hallway camera. Wen Qing couldn't see his hands or if there was a walkie-talkie, only Bai Tong opening the door to 0414 and entering. Dr. Chen glanced back, surprised to see him. "Huh? What are you doing here?"

She scanned his health bar, about to speak, but Bai Tong interrupted her.

"You forgot to lock the door." Bai Tong walked up to her, turning his back to the camera, blocking the view from the other side. He pulled out an asthma inhaler from his space and handed it to Dr. Chen.

Dr. Chen took the inhaler, instinctively pocketing it, and sighed with relief. "You came just in time. Jingjing doesn't need to make another trip."

Bai Tong nodded and casually asked, "There are three people with asthma in the restaurant. Do we have enough medicine?"

"I can't remember," Dr. Chen grabbed the walkie-talkie from her lab coat pocket and called out, "Wen Qing."

"I'm here." Wen Qing watched her holding the walkie-talkie, thinking Bai Tong indeed came to return it, so it seemed there was no issue.

Dr. Chen quickly said, "Go to the bedside cabinet under the window."

Wen Qing stood up and followed her instructions, no longer paying attention to the surveillance screens.

"On the third and fourth shelves, how many bottles of salbutamol and terbutaline are there?"

Wen Qing scanned the shelves and reported, "One bottle of each."

"That's enough," Dr. Chen paused, then exclaimed, "Huh? Where did Bai Tong go?"

"He just went back," another person's voice came through the walkie-talkie.
